Not quite the colour I thought it was going to be
I love Marimekko - have been a fan of it for years. So I do love this, however I feel that the colour description is not quite correct - The picture supplied makes it appear a quite a crisp contrasted with the darker black grey with a very faint/soft grey surround however the colour I would describe for the surround is more of a light caramel/beige which I feel overshadows the design and counters the crisp/contrast of it. Unfortunately it doesn't go as well in our bedroom with this as a colour scheme, and it looks quite dated(not suggesting it was old stock - just colour is out dated). I have opened and placed it on the bed, so unlikely to return it but it wont be taking pride of place and more likely reserved as a backup set. Had I seen it like this first - I would not have purchased. Buying online= buyer beware

The color is NOT at all like the advertisement. If you’re looking for a pretty vibrant purples or violets this is not the pick..If you want to add to your depression, order up! It’s more of off black, dingy tan, dull purple, & boring white..
