Up to now I have always used a separate router to handle the network side of things as I find the ones provided by your broadband provider are a jack of all trades and a master of none. They tend to get quite hot and when that happens the connection becomes unreliable.My router lost the 2.4ghz wifi signal (chip must of burnt out) so I was in the market for a replacement. This is when I started reading up about mesh networks and to me the logic makes sense so I bit the bullet and purchased one.Installation was very easy and it was all working within a few minutes. The wifi speeds around the house are alot better and our security cameras and smart devices all seem to have alot stronger signal so generally speaking they work when we want them too!I would recommend this as a good solution for your wifi needs!

This mesh network has completely solved the Wi-Fi issue we were having. Prior to this I couldn't get a good WiFi signal, I tried a WiFi repeater and a Wi-Fi power line adapter, and they'd only work when they wanted too and when they did work they were incredibly slow.The mesh network was easy to set up, plug the tower into a router via Ethernet cable and set it up, then plug in the power line adapter in a central location in the house (I have mine plugged in the outlet on top of the stairs). I get full speed on the WiFi upstairs and downstairs.The connection never drops, however on the odd occasion the speed can drop, but I found unplugging the power line adapter from the socket and plugging it back in again fixes it.Shame I had to pay more for mine as back then it was £99, but still for the price when looking back it solved the problems I was having.Worth getting especially now that the price has dropped. The system can be expanded with more modules if you have a bigger house.

I already had a mesh setup with the tp-link P9's which are really good but I was struggling to get stable bandwidth at the furthest corner of the house, where my office happens to be. The P9's also couldn't really help be get the best from the VM Gig 1 service that I have. After some research I decided to go for a set of the X90's and I am really glad I did. The increase in bandwidth through the whole house off just two well placed units is phenomenal. I have a lot of devices able to make use of WiFi 6 too which makes these units incredibly useful. I get over 800Mbps WiFi in the office now, and it's stable where before I was flip flopping between 20 and 100, which still isn't bad but was a bother sometimes on video calls.They are pricey but they do perform.The units are pretty large, about as high as 2 cans of coke and as wide as a can on its side.They are quite good looking units though so they wouldn't be too obtrusive.The tp-link software is really good. Super easy to set up and manage, lots of handy information and notifications when new devices join your network. You can buy services to increase your security and there is the option to have the units act as the router or purely as the mesh extensions.I highly recommend these units if you have fast broadband and want to get the most out of it.

We have a large house with thick walls in the older part of the house so needed some strong repeaters to have high speed WIFI everywhere.The installation is fairy straightforward and the meshing works well.I ended up buying 5 units in total as our house is very elongated (an old house extende at both ends)We had fibre internet installed a few months ago so these mesh units let us have super fast internet everywhere in the house and even in the garage and garden.

Comme son grand frère le X90 ce système wifi 6 est vraiment performant

Came from an old Asus ac66u router. This new tplink covers our whole house and our garden. We got the 2 pack. Shipping ok to NZ. Not super fast but ok.For NZ customers and maybe AU as well, this is a slightly better version of the same model we get in NZ. Has a higher hardware version and has faster wifi speeds. So very happy. Just has the UK plug but adaptors fix that.

Bonne portée du réseau sur 2 niveaux séparés par une dalle béton.Par contre prise anglaise fournie donc adaptateur à prévoir pour la France.

Très bon produit très facile à installer. Dommage que les adaptateurs d'alimentation soient à la norme UK.

Attention ce produit vient d'Angleterre. les adaptateurs pour les prises électriques françaises ne sont pas fournie. du coup, je l'ai renvoyé.
