If you haven’t tasted this stuff, buy it now! It does have a nice initial kick of spice. The nice thing is, this sauce doesn’t linger. It hits you and moves on. That just gets you ready for the next delicious bite!

Absolute Staple
This is our staple go-to hot sauce for everything. When we taste a dish and think it needs a little kick? Secret Aardvark. Not Tabasco (although we love Tabasco - also a staple). Not Sriracha, although we love it. Huy Fong's Chili Garlic is way better (staple) - how did Sriracha become such a big thing - and we'd choose that when having fried dumplings over the Aardvark. We're gonna hit the Peri Peri when doing African dishes. Frank's for wings. All our sauces have their purpose, but when you don't know what you are in the mood for? Secret Aardvark. Never a mistake. Especially good on eggs in the morning.Oh, and it's hard to make a mistake with a shake or two heat-wise: It's not that hot. Shake some on. Have a taste. Shake some more on, obviously! So good and easy to love I give it away as a present to hot sauce lovers.

Tasty, spicy and no overpowering vinegar
This is my favorite go-to hot sauce. So many hot sauces just taste like vinegar. This, however, has a very good flavor profile, with the roasted tomato flavor prevalent. Potato wedges from a chicken place + Secret Aardvark put me in heaven.

The best versatile hot sauce ever
When I travel I am always paying attention to the local condiments, especially the hot sauces. In Maryland everything is Old Bay, in Texas you’ll find Valentina or Tapatio around a lot. In the Caribbean my fave is the Belizean Marie Sharps. But when I went to Oregon I never expected to see a unique and ubiquitous hot sauce on the tables of almost every restaurant we visited. Oregon... hot sauce?!?! Ohhh yea!!! The Secret Aardvark habanero hot sauce is divine!! I use it on sooo many things. Raw avocado? Oh yes please!! Want to add kick to your Mac and cheese? Heck yesss!!!! Pizza, burger, turkey sandwich? Yes yes yes. Even mashed potatoes?! Tasting is believing and I’m a believer. Now it will not replace the Original Louisiana hot sauce for Jambalaya. It will not replace Sriracha for pho. But it is my favorite versatile sauce I’ve had to date. And it’s from Oregon. Weird, in a good way, but so is Oregon so that makes sense.

BEST DAMN HOTSAUCE THERE IS!!
It's got the flavor and not just the heat! I've put it on the meat I'm cooking or I put it on the veggies...just depends on which one I want to "kick up a notch".It is a thick sauce (almost a paste), so if you're used to thinner sauces...you can thin it out by mixing it with white vinegar. It does change the flavor slightly, but it's still quite tasty. Just depends on your preference. The wife & go through it pretty fast. It's time for us to get more soon! We won't let our home go without it!!
