Wrangler Men's Western Boot Socks (Three Pairs)

I wear cowboy boots regularly and these socks are great. They come up just below the knee. I'm 6'4" and I got the XL if that helps. They are rather tight around the calf, but they stay up. They seem to be very well made. Purchasing another 3 pack.

My husband absolutely loves these. They are the 4th or 5th set we have purchased. He has varicose veins and he also wears cowboy boots a lot an the says these make all the difference in the world. They stay up and snug his legs just enough to feel secure, but not too tight.

Great socks to wear with boots. My son loves them. They stay up well and he is not constantly having to worry about them falling down while he is working.

I ordered three pairs of these socks the beginning of July, and it is now the end of July, and I've ordered two weeks worth of these socks. I don't typically write reviews, but if a product is exceptional in either way (exceptionally great or exceptionally bad) I'll spend some time and write a review. I've worn boot socks for decades now; having been a Marine for 14 years, and still wear boots now, I've worn just about any pair of boots socks you can typically find out there. In lace up boots, looser or cheaper socks aren't as bad, as long as you can cinch the laces up tight enough, but in pull up cowboy boots, I had not been able to find a pair of socks that I could wear for more than five minutes without having to pull them up, as they would slide down and then bunch up under my feet inside the boot. I tried at least 5 or six different brands, including my military boot socks I wore for years to several different styles of Under Armour socks and more, trying to find a solution, all to no avail. A little Google search and I found these highly recommended and figured I'd give them a try. I ordered the first package of 3, since they were a bit pricier than regular socks, but I figured it was worth it to try. I've worn them for a month now, having ordered more since. They are fantastic. They don't slide down, they stay up all day. I do fold the tops down a bit, as they're long enough to go over my knees; I fold the tops down to just over my calves. Occasionally I do get one that rolls a bit on my foot, not noticeable while wearing boots, but to be honest, it's a moot point as the socks truly don't have any noticeable seams in the toe. Nothing to shift against your feet in boots if they do roll a bit. Depending on how you might choose to wear your cowboy/pull up boots, I like mine loose enough I can easily slide them on and off, which means my foot inside the boot is pretty loose, which is why all my other socks would slide down. These socks in the same boots don't move at all. Time will tell if they retain their shape and elasticity, but for a month now, and wearing boots all day for work, then wearing boots when I get home, they've been fantastic.

I wear work boots and cowboy boots about 85% of the year and I absolutely swear by these. I have them in black and gray. They slide down sometimes, but not often and only when I'm being excessively active.

Best (cowboy esp.) boot socks I have worn in terms of staying up on the leg without falling to the ankles. They are a bit thin compared to the thinker socks but don’t prefer those in the spring, fall and summer. Where these in the winter and feet don’t feel cold. They also didn’t shrink like so many of the other sock brands and hold their shape to what some might call “compression socks” but they are not compression socks. The tightness is “goldilocks” tight - just right.

I don't normally have a lot to say about my socks. ust not typically a great conversation topic unless you happen to be looking for an exceptional pair of socks...right? I look for four things in particular when I'm looking to buy socks. A good fit for my feet, Comfortable but snug fitting material, overall durability, and for crying out loud...a reasonable price! In my opinion these fine Wrangler socks scored top ratings one every one of my "Great Socks" categories. First, they're actually offered in a very rare "large man" size. Can't begin to tell you how hard it is to find socks for someone who wears shoes larger than a size 12. ESPECIALLY at a reasonable price! I bought three pairs of these extra-large Wrangler socks for LESS THAN the price of a single pair of any other comparable socks! (actually, I think I bought 9 pair all together!) Next, the material these socks are made of is incredible! I've never seen socks made of such a soft, light but yet really sturdy material like these before. A bit thinner than your standard athletic sock these are just short of what I'd expect for a compression sock. A nice snug fit that's not about to start sliding down to you ankles! All this and then to get THREE PAIR for less than $20.00...I'll definitely be coming back for more of these great Wrangler Boot Socks!

Although I have edema and have swelling around my ankles which drains off during sleep, these socks are a good experience for me. They go up over my calf and do not cause bulges in my legs like crew socks and a lot of ankle socks do. So, I'm buying more today. Another benefit is that the snugness of the sock enables it to fit in my snug work shoes, (size 16) Lowa Renegades. I worked several hours clearing a fallen tree yesterday and did not have bulges on my legs when finished. The socks stayed up over my calves too. So, even though they have gone up $4 since I last ordered, I ordered a 3-pack today.

Well-made socks. Quality item. Socks stay up all day to just below my knees. Comfortable to wear.
