Nice shoe
It's excactly what I purchased. True to size and has been holding up very well to my karate workouts where there is a lot of pivoting involved. The only thing I'd say is that I wished I had purchased sneakers that laced all the way up rather than just at the top so they'd be snugger at the middle of the foot. That's not the manufacturers fault. The shoe holds up very well and for every day use you'll have no problem.

Better than other adidas mothels still won’t hold up much kicking, super comfy, look awesome.
Look awesome but they won’t last much if you train on them, materials are crap, it gents scratched really easily, it’s sturdier than the other adidas models.

Didn't work for me.
I feel like the shoes were great, a lot of my colleagues love them, I have been kickboxing barefoot for so long, I couldn't get use to them. I tried them 2 times, both times I took them off within 5 minutes. Fit; the shoes felt a little tight in the toe, and a little loose in the heal, and had a flat arch. Round kick; pivoting is not as easy as bare feet, but better than cross traing/running shoes. Spinning back kick; it was very hard to find my footing, and would go off balance. Back story Our kickboxing studio closed a TRX training gym, took over our membership, the new gym did not have martial arts mats, they have weight lifting mats, hence the reason for the shoes. If we had martial arts training mats, I feel I would have zero issues with the shoes.

Comfy shoes, good mobility for kicking
It’s my third pair and third version of Adidas martial arts shoes over the past 20 years. I am happy with the fit. Since unisex means men’s size I got one size smaller and it fit right. Prior version fit way too wide without any adjustment capability, but thewidth of these is good and the single lace is useful. I need to double knot it or else it unties while kickboxing but my feet stay in them as would be expected. I wasn’t thrilled about the white because I figured they’d get scuffed and dirty quickly on the heavy bag. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they are easy to wipe clean and buff out the scuffs. Overall I’m happy with the shoes.

Poke a hole, lock the heel
I love these shoes but agree the fit is a bit loose. I made an easy adjustment by poking an extra hole and trimming a shoelace to lock my heel in place so now they fit very snugly.

Nice shoes, the laces are a bit wonky compared to SM-II's.
3-month update: As I said in my review below, the shoe lace orientation leaves much to be desired. In the older Adidas SM IIs, the lace route goes around the full opening of the shoe, so you get a tight cinch down on your foot when you tie it. These shoes have laces that only go through two holes, and the laces don't hold well when you are moving around. I have to double-knot the laces to keep them from coming untied. For that, I am demoting the product to 3 stars. These are very comfortable, and the soles are much more durable-looking than the Adidas SM-II. I have worn the SM-II for over 20 years, and the weakness has always been the soles coming apart over time. The Adi-kick 2s have a much better sole, but the lace is simply a single string through the shoe. It doesn't wrap around the outer perimeter of the shoe like the SM-IIs did. I don't like that. The string could easily be lost if you are not paying attention. One way to minimize this is to tie a knot in the string so it can't slide out.

Le scapre sono molto fascianti, il piede non scivola e allo stesso tempo si ha molto controllo e sembra di non avere scarpe. Ottimo prodotto.

Use this product as a kickboxing shoe to protect the bottom of the feet when they start blistering and splitting. Still able to pivot and kick reasonably well but the grip does catch a little on my gyms rubber mats. The lack of lacing all the way down the front of the foot means there is nothing to dig into the top of the foot if you connect with that part. Comfortable and did what they were supposed to do. Worth the price.
