Extremely pleased with this product.
I never leave reviews but due to the confusion and multiple choices in LED strip lighting I felt the need. I was extremely skeptical about purchasing this product and had all but convinced myself that I needed to go with the more expensive Flexfire LED product. One of my big concerns was installing something electrical into my home that did not have a UL listing, as a contractor I know better because if anything ever happened because of this product and insurance companies where to be involved things could get dicey. This product is UL listed, stamped on the LED strips and a tag on the feeds. This product was extremely easy to install, I chose to solder connections which have a slight learning curve but I could fabricate on the counter tops and then install. When soldering sections together I used 18 gauge stranded wire and tinned the leads (touch wire with solder) and I just lightly touched the small round + or - circle with a drop of solder on iron until solder left small dot on circle. Take the tinned 18 gauge wire and rest on top of small dot of solder on + or - circle and then just touch soldering iron to the top of wire for a second and wire will firmly solder and make a solid connection. One big key is to also wipe down the area with denatured alcohol, lacquer thinner, to ensure proper adhesion. One reason I almost didn't buy the product was because there where many reviews saying there was adhesive problems, adhesive backing so far has been absolutely perfect, no releasing, no sagging. This product has been in for over two weeks and my gal and I couldn't be happier, it is set on a dimmer and can be as bright or as dim as we wish. I usually shy away from less expensive products because I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for

Be sure to buy a proper power supply.
I used these lights to rebuild some old ballasted fluorescent 8ft enclosures in my garage. I reused the old frames as well and just stuck the strips to those for easy mounting on the ceiling. I cannot review the quality of the connectors because I promptly cut those off at the female end and stripped the wires back for soldering on longer jumper wires to complete the circuit. I cut the strips at about the 8ft mark to make two rails of lights each 8ft long on each enclosure (2 enclosures, each with about 16ft of lights in them doubled up into two strips). My soldering seems to be adequate enough to work without issues, and the strips were quite easy to solder jumpers to in order to connect the cut strips. Now, if you're going to connect these up like I've done, I'd suggest a PWM power supply (I used a 125W model with two 12v power rails). The connectors that come attached to the strips are just OK, but nothing to write home about. Instead I just stripped the wires and ran everything into the power supply - works great! Nice and bright!

1st Day Review. Bright, Beautiful Output!
Put aluminum channels for light strips under our kitchen cabinets about 7-8 years ago. The old strips served us well but had got noticeably dimmer and seemed to be leaning towards cool tint. Pulled out the old ones and installed these and OMG what a difference! The reds really pop now, well ALL colors look better compared to the old ones. Not sure what the exact Kelvin or CRI on these is compared to the stated rating but they look great in our kitchen. The old ones got a LOT of use because we prefer them to the overhead light, these will also. Will update if they degrade quickly. They look so nice I'm looking for more places to put some. Adhesive was nice and sticky. I didn't cut exactly on the line as instructed but close to the edge of the previous emitter. This allowed the pads to be away from the cut edge rather than cut in half. Allowed for larger solder pad and didn't cause a problem on any of the 7 sections I used. Would love to post some pictures but our kitchen is not in a condition to display to the world.

Decent color quality LEDs at a stable price
I bought these for a 3D printer enclosure to make it easier to see what I was doing when doing detail work (like calibration), and since it was going in my office and Iโm fairly cognizant of light, good color reproduction was important. These fit the bill reasonably well. The temperature is a touch warm, they work on a dimmer (though they do buzz when the voltage is between ~40โ80%), and the color reproduction is reasonable enough that it isnโt bothersome, though Iโm skeptical of the โ90+ CRIโ claim. The LED density is fairly high, and they put out a considerable amount of light without getting hot. The adhesive is working well for me. I have three strips directly mounted to bare plywood with thin wire joining each strip and the adhesive has kept them in place without any issues for over a month now. One thing I donโt love is the solder on the pads at the cut lines. It has a tendency to make the cutters slip to one side or another, resulting in one side that has a rather small pad for solder. If youโre not planning on cutting and rejoining them itโs a non-issue, of course.

Phenomenal lights and service from Hitlights
Purchased Hitlights Premium, High Density, Neutral White (4000K) light reels plus their power supplies, connectors and wire to use for above and below cabinet lighting around our new home (7 individual above and below cabinet sections). Result looks far nicer than builder installed option which would have cost over three thousand dollars. I called Hitlights for assistance and their Customer Service Team (Pepper in particular) provided outstanding support to give me the confidence to utilize this custom, component solution and help me with exactly what to order. I had builder installed outlets located above each cabinet section. Our cabinets (and many others) have a gap or channel that provides an easy place to run wire from the top of cabinets to below the cabinets. For each cabinet area, I was able to plug in a power supply on top then connect a dimming transformer with remote, an LED strip length cut to specific lengh required for that top section, then connect to 18 gauge wire to run to bottom of cabinets starting point, then connect to the second LED strip cut to length to illuminate under the cabinets. The result was a custom installed solution where I only purchased the components I needed (7 power supplies, 4 reels, 40โ of 18 gauge wire, plus assorted connectors). I purchased everything through Amazon except for the Hitlights dimmable transformers with remotes (R106 single Color Remote Dimmer with RF Remote - $4 each) that I purchased from the HItlights web site. Pepper with Hitlights calculated and shared what type of power supply I needed for each section (60 watt or 24 watt) based on the lights I was purchasing and the total LED length included in my seven respective strings. She also shared the type of connectors I would need to complete the overall job without any soldering. The solderless connectors worked great and only thing I needed to do was splice 18 gauge wire together with some wire nuts I had purchased separately. Overall, great project result and outstanding customer service experience!!

Excellent upgrade for RV lighting
I got these lights with the hope that I would be happy with them. I am. Previous rolls I had purchased weren't bad, but not as bright, and had a cooler tint that made things look... not as nice. I got these to upgrade the lighting in my RV. Seeing that all the light fixtures in the RV are 12v, these work without needing any power adapters. I retrofitted the fluorescent fixtures to work with these lights. 1 strip = 1 fluorescent tube. The result is a slightly brighter light with a more aesthetically pleasing light quality. These are neither cool white nor warm white, but sit right in a nice spot that is neither too blue nor too yellow. A very nice neutral color. In the first picture, the left fixture is retrofitted with these LED's while the right fixture is original fluorescent. The second picture shows the inside of the LED retrofit. I used the original reflector - just adhering them directly to the reflector. The third is the original fixture for comparison. I did not use clips. Rather, I soldered the wiring directly to the strips. It's pretty easy if you're handy with a soldering iron.

4000K nice neutral white. Be aware of the connectors if cutting to fit!
I like these and they worked out very well for me. But I lucked out and happened to order the exact connectors I needed. Be aware that the high density 600 LED tapes need a particular connector with a little notch in the flip top end so you can get the connector clip closed! There are so many tightly packed LEDs on these strips that there is very little space between the LED and the cut line. I needed only one 90-degree clip to finish my project and spent maybe an hour surfing Amazon trying to find some with the notch without luck. I figured I would buy some low density 90s and see if they could be made to work with a dremel or something.... They cant, they are too flimsy. I was able to use some connectors from the kit I bought and strip the clips from the low density 90s to get it all working and looking good. This is the kit to purchase, it appears to be the only one with the little notch but doesn't include any 90s.....
