I bought this for my grandson's birthday. He loved it. He played for months with it. It was very well made and kid friendly. A great gift.

What can I say...the kids love it but lose interest in it quickly.

I figured for this price that the piece would not work very well. I was actually surprised that it worked as good as it does. I tried it when I received it and although not amazingly well, the voices are variated. You can hear the difference for each button you press (there are 6). It is not loud like a speaker but it is as loud as you talk into it. I purchased it for my 6 year old grandson who I know will love it. My 8 year old grandson tried it and asked me to buy him one. When my 16 year old granddaughter tried it, she asked me to get her one too. I guess it just goes to show that price is not always a factor for a good item. Hope it lasts.

When you are looking for something along the lines of a kazoo, this is a great alternative! I bought this for my grandkids as something fun to change their voice as well as magnify it, this worked great. Just the right size and parents can use it too! Ha!

I am revising this review after discovering some flaws and downgraded my rating of this product. I didn't even get it out of the plastic before it stopped functioning properly. It most likely just needs a new battery, but uses some weird tiny twelve volt battery I never heard of that undoubtedly cost more than the toy itself. The battery is naturally screwed inside the toy with tiny screws. Assume if you buy this toy that you will need to replace the battery. If it isn't the battery that is defective, it might be the toy itself. I basically bought this because I am building a robot that will talk via a walkie-talkie inside of it... and I wanted it to sound like a robot. For my purposes, this toy might still be perfect. It has three sound settings on it, but to be honest... it doesn't matter which setting it is on... the sound is like that of a tin robot no matter what setting it is on. I can see a kid having lots of fun with this toy. It's not built to last for many drops, and is cheaply made... but it works and is fun. I'm planning to rip mine apart anyway, so I prefer it to be breakable myself. Unless your doing a specialized project like mine...this is the sort of toy that if it was sitting at a cash register and a kid wanted it, I might have bought it for them to play with for the couple of bucks knowing it is not going to last much beyond the ride home. I probably would not suggest mail ordering it... unless you have a particular need for a robot sound effect...as its shipping cost equals its value. I am sure it could get annoying if a kid used it all the time, but this is one of those toys a kid will play with for a few minutes...then loose it until it is rediscovered again.

My kids love it, but it will drive you crazy. Don't ask me why the Easter bunny brought these.

Bought this for my 4 year old grandsons' birthday. It is definitely a hit as not only did he love it but the adults had so much fun also. After reading all the reviews I had doubts but overall even the bad reviews said the kids loved it and still played with it even though the adults found it cheap so I gave it a chance and very happy I did!

Doesn’t work at all, don’t waste your money

Bought it for my son's 4th birthday.. he absolutely loved it.. and my husband loved it even more..no age limit at all..
