BahcoCombination Pliers, 2628 G-200

Unfortunately, even though the image shows the original design pliers, what arrived was the new design which has the metal spring accessible from the inside of the handle, not very good if you "accidentally" grab hold of a live wire. I would have kept them though, knowing that I may struggle to buy the old design pliers, but they was not smooth opening and closing. When the jaws are open about 5mm it catches, and takes more effort to open them fully. Also the cutter section, half of the cutter didn't touch the other side, so wouldn't cut. Not the usual Bacho quality I am used to.

I ordered the snub nose 2628G200 bahco pliers but received the 2628G-180. I already have these pliers that was sent. What’s the point in having a picture up of one plier but you send another? I’m an electrician and the smaller snub nose ones I ordered are the best for getting into back boxes. I had a pair of those when I was an apprentice and hadn’t had these pliers since then. I prefer the ones I ordered . Not the ones I sent

Smaller size that still grips like an 8". Ultra useful little spring in the handle that can be pushed up to spring open the jaws, or kept down so the jaws stay shut when stored.

All you expect from a quality tool manufacturer, slightly longer jaws than similarly sized pliers, best suited when using the pipe grip area as the flat grip is in the rear, with only a small flat grip ( approx 10mm) at front of jaw. Exellent Cable Cutters, upto 8mm sheathed power cables with ease.Buy these for their intended purposes and you will be very satisfied.Bahco do a 'standard' shorter fat jawed pliers with side hinge cable snips if you want Classic pliers.But I'd recommend these 21st Design & Quality set of pliers any day.
