It helps a bit but not worth what I paid.
I purchased this because when I watch video using XMBC/Kodi on my Amazon Fire TV the audio level during a movie can vary widely. Some scenes are extremely loud but dialog is very low. I find myself having to constantly adjust the volume with the remote control- and it's not just some movies, it's almost everyone.Unfortunately while this device helps somewhat it doesn't help that much. If this was a $20 device I may give it 4 stars, but I paid well over $100 for it and it is no way worth that amount.Also annoying is that I have to plug this into AC power and can't power it via a USB port.
