They met for the first time in 2010 when Conny was supporting Wino on his acoustic solo tour promoting Adrift. Both had recorded an infamous 'Latitudes' session in London by the end of the 2010 tour it was now time for a full album. This collection of songs were written and performed by Wino and Conny together. The tracks were later twisted into shape in a second recording session at the seminal Kabumm Studios in Berlin. They also recorded a cover song of Highway Kind by Townes Van Zandt. Beautiful
Beautiful music. Different. It is nice to hear things that try to stand out from the radio crowd these days. It doesn't have to be complicated to be enjoyed. What prompted me to buy this was when I heard a song from these guys on a Volcom mp3 player on Surfline.com (staring at crappy san diego surf). Evoked a lot of emotion in me and that is what made me buy it. You find music in the strangest places.

Absolutely Wonderful and Amazing
Incredible...every song is gripping and darkly emotional. Production is sparse yet it sounds full. I have been listening to this almost everyday since I got it and I like it more each day. Do yourself and Wino and Conny a favor and buy this...

Heavy Kingdom
Ok I have all the Wino stuff!! But this cd is something weird. He has an acoustic guitar with no drums and it was flat and boring! His voice is not strong enough to do this. Sorry it lacked in hooks and melody!!

These guys make an acoustic guitar wail like an electric. A couple of grim reapers casting dark and somber lyrics, though very stripped down and intense.Wino over the years has done it all with a work ethic that would bury the average artist six feet under. Deep
Deeply soulful music from Wino and Conny. Their voices are perfect complements to each other. Saw them play twice this summer and was not disappointing. Heavy lyrics and beautiful melodies.

Dans la lignée de son album solo et acoustique intitulé "Adrift" (2011), Scott "Wino" Weinrich (SAINT VITUS, THE OBSESSED, SPIRIT CARAVAN, THE HIDDEN HAND) s'acoquine avec un certain Conny Ochs pour pondre un album très acoustique. Il ne faut pas craindre de gentilles ballades pastorales, tant la voix fatiguée et coassante de Wino envoie l'auditeur du côté obscur de l'existence. Vibrant et sincère.Alain Lavanne
