Otherside Picnic: Omnibus 2 (Light Novel) (Otherside Picnic (Light Novel), 2)

The book arrived safely. The story is creepy as ever. I'm surprised that the author managed to make ASMR creepy. A great book!

So happy to have it finally on paper, after being postponed for 2 months. Delivery came in without any issues and the printings look beautiful.While this might be more of a personal opinion, I think that volume 3 and 4 are significantly less thrilling than the first two have been. This is mostly because of the very anime-y stuff that happens sometimes and because of the slight shift towards a more interpersonal relationship focus.I found the chapters "Sannuki-san and Karateka-san" and "Pandora in the Next Room" rather underwhelming and something that becomes more apparent is the linearity that every chapter MUST include something with the Otherside. In that sense, the chapter "The Inviting Hot Springs" which was fine on its own, also had something from the Otherside shoved in, which was, in my humble opinion, completely unnecessary and added nothing to the plot. Having a breather chapter is completely fine.Nonetheless, the story continues strong overall and the overarching plot is becoming more and more clear as both Sorawo and Toriko go down the rabbit hole further and further. Can't wait to get my hands on Omnibus 3.
