These two are made for each other as friends, so different but it works. Horace and Bridget very funny. Look forward to continuing with The Holiday.

This has been fun to read, the description of the book is how it is, along the way the two ladies meet people they like and some there not so sure about, there is nothing to dislike and lots of content, they have an adventure and the ending left me smiling.

Absolutely loved this, felt like I was in the car with Maddy and Leanne and I now desperately want to do the same trip- except maybe drive though Paris, that sounded terrifying. I loved the characters, even Horace and his chickens. I don't want to do a spoiler but one bit of it brought tears to my eyes. My only disappointment was when it ended and I will be buying The Boat Trip as soon as it hits Amazon.-

Well I bought this book because of reviews saying it was LOL I have finished the book and didn't laugh once,sorry it was not my cup of tea,not a bad romance,will not read the next one.

Had to give The Road Trip five stars as it had me gripped from page one, loved the girls and their stories I could have been on the trip with them it felt so real. I am a great admirer of Susanne O' Leary and have read lot's of her book's, now I am waiting in anticipation for The Boat Trip. Hope we don't have to wait to long.I would definitely recommend that you read this books it will have you laughing out loud.

Enjoyed the story line, good characters, amusing, light hearted, with a touch of reality about it, a good holiday read..

Good read

This was such a fun filled, refreshing novel. Its really nice to find these books to read. So light hearted and airy. I love how Maddy and Leanne are together as if they were sisters traveling and exploring. What a way to spend their windfall.

The author is right. Everyone feels the need to run away from their every day life for an adventure, and she gave us a great one to enjoy by reading it.

This is a cute story and very easy read. I don't know why anyone would read this sort of thing and expect some deep storyline. It's meant to be light, funny and escapism at it's best.

I started out liking this book. You've won the Lotto and decide to fill out your dreams. However, there is no ending. The Road Trip stops midway in their journey. It appears the reader will have to buy one or two or maybe even three more books to find the results of the road trip and all that has happened.

I'm not into love stories so when I picked this book I didn't realize it was. I guess it was a good story but as far as laugh out loud funny I didn't come across any sections that made me laugh. Just someone living with a fantasy wanting it to come true and turned out to be a bad dream. She was happy when she married and like most marriages they all go through some tough times, some make it and some don't, and she was thinking if only she stay with her first love things would have been better but in reality that could have also turned sour after a few years. You can't live on fantasies, they will never work out the way you dreamed them too.
