My daughter almost split her head open after slipping on this mat. We opened the package and put the mat on our dry tile bathroom floor. I called my 4 year old daughter to come and see she walked around the corner, took one step on the mat and stopped. The mat slipped, bunched up about an inch, she fell and almost hit her head. The product description is incredibly misleading. These do slip. They bunch up. They claim 'hot melt adhesive backing' and 'non-slip' but there is no backing, it's just the bottom of the chenille.. This mat is dangerous and I am angry they get away with claiming 'non-slip'. Amazon needs to remove their "Amazon choice" from this product. I tried it and literally took one step on the mat and it bunched up and slipped. Our floor was NOT wet, its just standard tile.Go read the Questions and answers, buried under levels of "see more" there's multiple other customers claiming there is no backing, the mat slips, edges flip up.I have no backing on mine, even though the description states that it does. I am so sorry but, I was very disappointed with your product. What sold me was the size advertised , larger then the average rug of the contour rug and non-slip. It has no grip, it slid when walked on. I placed another rug of the same color under the toilet tug, it did not slip or slide, not practical. The other rug was not as large as I thought it would be because the size was mentioned. Well, it is smaller than the rug I am using and it slips and slides. My floor is regular tile. I have requested a refund, am returning both. Thank you.

This rug feels like the microfiber cloth you use to wash your car. If you stand on the rug for too long, this may leave imprint since the spiky material can bend. I've had rugs like this before and that's exactly what happened and eventually, the spiky material will all be flattened out and full with lint and hair (that doesn't come out in the wash). The non-slip will be better on a tiled floor with grooves but on a completely smooth surface, this may slide (as it did in my bathroom which has completely flat).If you like this style these other things I mentioned may not be an issue for you. I thought this was a different style than my last rug but it was the same material with the same potential issues. I gave it 3-stars since it feeling decently made, it's soft, has some slip resistance but it's still a no for me. It won't last or hold its shape/look over time (in my opinion from previous experiences with similar rugs). I hope this helps :)

This is so soft and I love it! Feels so soft and comfortable. Looks nice in my bathroom..I'm ordering another one for my downstairs bathroom.

Unfortunately bought 3 of these and when used first one about a week ago quickly found out that the rug is NOT NON-Slip as described in the listing. It has to constantly be reset in correct place and is honestly a dangerous slip hazard.Pics attached were 1 day after resetting rug around toilet Again and already slipped out of alignment!I am out 3 rugs costs paid as the one used and the other 2 bought are beyond the 30 day return period.I am going to try to recoup monies paid with the Amazon A to Z guarantee program.

Part of our small bathroom remodel included finding an accent color to tie it all together and the green rugs are perfect. Only downside is that they don't have enough 'gripper' backing so I will probably end up getting something to help keep them in place so I don't have to adjust them. No issues w/ washing them, I did hang dry them.

We bought this for my daughter's bathroom. It didn't quite match so my husband and I are using it now. We love how soft this rug is. Glad to have inherited this item from our daughter :)!Update: My son wanted one too. the second one is as nice as the first. We love the softness.

I don't usually write reviews. I'm bad. I always read them before buying. This 1 deserves everyone to write a review. EXTREMELY soft. I love them so much I purchased a 2nd set for the hall bath. Potent purple which I think because of the darkness could of went in my master bath with a dark burgundy wall. Only have the 1 burgundy wall in the master and is on the other side of the room then where the rugs are. But decided to keep in the hall bath. I did also choose the light grey. Wish I would of got the dark grey but that was my fault or they were out of the right size. Give these a try. I can't imagine not being happy. I have thrown them in the wash once. I decided not to throw in the dryer. I think it would of been find but washing seems to do a number on rugs. Hope this helps someone.
