Disappointed with kilner purchase
I have just opened my package of the killer spaghetti jar and yes it is sturdy, easy to clean and value for money, however disappointingly there are 2 chips in the glass lid see above picture, the glass is not in the bottom of the jar so assume done during manufacture. I'm not sure I will return especially in the covid environment, but not at all happy. Not what I usually expect from kilner.Click and collect was efficient and early delivery against date given.

Botton of the jar is not flat to loading is hard.
I love Kilner jars and their products. I was dialointed the bottom of the jar is not flat. This is why people are moanin on here about the spagetti not going in the metal tray. I tried 5 times to arrange it.With a flat bottom on the inside of the jar it would balance better while storing and loading.Other than this I know it will keep fresh in this jar for future use.

Looks Nice - Not Practical
Looks really nice, very solid and of good quality but the metal internal lifting thing (whats it called?!) is a bit useless, pasta will get stuck on either side around the edges and then break off and sit in the bottom. Ive removed the internal lifting thing. It will be worth looking at alternatives without the central metal thing.

Faulty idea
Whilst it might seem a good idea to have a plunger that pulls-up your spaghetti in this long glass jar, it fails in that strands get caught between the plunger and the side of the jar. Result - broken strands, pieces falling underneath the plunger and just generally useless. Returned.
