For the price you can’t beat it. It works well. Probably not good enough for a professional but for a hobby amateur like me it’s great.

Had to file out the hole where the blade goes through.It was slightly to small for the blade, looked like the moulding had failed slightly when it was cast. After that it works ok.

Really good tool to have - used to shave down a door to fit.I did struggle in figuring out how to get the blade in but got there in the end.Really useful, sharp and versitille

Didn't work brilliantly quite tricky to put together and kept coming undone. Did look well made and sturdy but not the best.

Good value, had to sand off the black paint on the face and file off some casting burrs but after that great.

All the advantages of a plane in a nice compact tool.

The handle is rubbish...the whole thing is below standards expected even for a cheap tool.The blades as my dear mother bless her soul used to say you could ride to London bare bottomed (she used a slightly more crude word begining with A and ending with S) and not get a cut from the blades on this...steer clear and save your money.

Have been using this Spokeshave for a few months now and I think it's fantastic. I'm not a carpenter or anything, I just like to make things out of spare bits of wood, old pallets, etc. and this it brilliant for taking the edges off of the wood to reduce the amount of sanding I need to do.Easy to set up with plenty of spare blades (still on my first one so they will last you a few years).
