Must have chest protector for 12 and up
This is hands down the best chest protector pound for pound with its price point. I have been hit with 80+ foul balls and didn’t flinch. It’s light and fits all of my umpire shirts even when I gain weight lol. I see people talking about it’s fit, you have to bring the back strap all the way up, where you can just squeeze your melon in. This brings the chest protector up and tight during the whole game. 90 plus heat. Breaths pretty good, you have to take in the fact that it’s summer lol I recommend any umpires who do 12 and up. I umpire high school all day with this and not worry. I have been an umpire for 38 years.

Effective for several 80 MPH+ foul balls for an entire season
Ive used this chest protector for an entire season and its been exactly what I needed. During several Varsity level High School games, I took several foul tips straight to my torso, no pain whatsoever. I would HIGHLY recommend getting bicep protectors and adding them as I did to this setup. The overall comfort is great, the slim profile keeps me from looking like the Michelin man and for the money it beats the Wilson version hands down. Quality is acceptable and has met my high expectations.

Lightweight and cool

great, one problem they shoulder should have a strap it falls forward and is a little out of place. if you use one you know what I'm talking about.

Did its job very well
Delivery was earlier than predicted. Wore it for a 18U game took a foul tip right off the chest, felt the thump but no pain or long term stiffness the next morning. Fits great, did its job very well, comfortable and not too hot.

17” Had my first game with it , I felt really well protected! Didn’t take a ball off it yet, I’ll update when I do but it is very protective! It was a pretty hot humid night and it did make me pretty hot , but that’s to be expected! Fits me great I’m 6ft 210lbs
