Easy to install and works great!!
***Edit*** Added a Video demonstrating these. Also, after over a year these still work great and we have never had an issue with a single one even though they’re installed on every cabinet we own. Still HIGHLY recommend. We recently bought some IKEA cabinets for our laundry room and they came with the soft close hinges. After using the cabinets we really wanted to get similar hinges for our kitchen. Our kitchen isn't IKEA. After looking around these were the best deal out there and had good reviews so I went had and bought a package of them. I was slightly disappointed when I opened the package and they were plastic that looked like metal. However, after installing the first one which took all of 1 minute, it worked so well I didn't care what they were made of. I looked around just to see prices on metal ones and they were quite a bit more expensive and not worth the extra money. These are also nice and small and since they are installed with just the spring push sticking out and the rest hidden in the cabinet, they are very discrete. My wife couldn't find them at first even though she knew they were there. So they aren't big and noticeable, you will probably never have anyone notice. Our neighbors just purchased these as well because their young daughter keeps slamming her fingers in the cabinet doors. So they are also great to help prevent fingers being smashed if you have little ones at the house. The instructions it comes with are straight forward. Just drill a 3/32 I believe pilot hole then screw it in and you're done. We had four doors that needed two per door. Even with 1 of these on the door it would not slam, it just didn't have the same catch and slow close as the smaller doors. So it didn't really NEED two but I wanted those doors to close like the rest. The screw adjustment on the back is very easy to adjust and makes a big difference. That adjustment is how our bigger doors could've used just one of these but I used two anyway. It also was good for our smaller lower cabinet doors to adjust it back to close easier as those doors aren't as big. We have 48" cabinets and all of our standard doors just used one and definitely don't need two. I would highly highly recommend these to anyone looking for that soft close on their doors. I wil be buying a few more to finish up the cabinets in our bathrooms as well as I find myself slamming those now forgetting they don't soft close!

Outstanding Product!
I bought a couple of these from a big-box store and when they worked so well, bought a pack of 25 from Amazon. Yes, they are made of plastic, but completely solved our problem of noisy cabinets. Very easy to install and I would recommend trying different positions before screwing them into position. Only one was needed for even our tallest cabinets in the kitchen. My wife is extremely pleased which should tell you all you want to know about this product....

Decent Soft Close Dampers
I decided to paint all my kitchen cabinets and have been wanting soft close cabinets since we moved into our house. I saw someone using these on Instagram, so I thought I'd give them a try. They came in a pack of 25 which was great because I needed 24. They worked great, for the most part. A few did not work no matter how much I adjusted them, and a couple have started to wear out since I installed them almost 10 months ago. But, I think they were still a good deal and a temporary solution if you're not quite ready to spend the money on real soft close cabinets or hardware!

Great plastic dampers!
These are great, worked perfectly. Super easy to install. One thing to watch out for, though...these are cleverly designed to look like they are made of metal, but they are all plastic. They still work great, and look great, but if you are looking for metal ones, these aren't it.

Great at first but do not last...
I purchased 50 of these dampers a few years ago to install in both my and my parents' homes. They were extremely easy to install and worked great at first. Now about three years later, the majority of the dampers have failed. Not the end of the world as it is an affordable product, but I would have liked to be able to repair them if I could instead of throwing them all away.

Excellent addition to self close cabinet doors. Makes them soft / slow close.
Summary: Converted all my spring loaded self closing, slamming cabinet doors into soft, slow close doors. Love them. Easy to install, no issues in a year, so they appear to hold up well. Pretty easy to install, just put in upper corner, use drill to put in screw, and you are done. They have a set screw in the back that lets you adjust how stiff or soft it, depending the door its dealing with. Some doors try to slam shut, some barely have enough spring left to close (so swapped one of the slam spring hinges with one of the weak spring hinges, now both are moderate). Easy to install, easy to adjust (tho most times you don't need to), and seem to be durable. Worked so well on my cabinets, that I also did mother-in-law's. She acts like I gave her a whole new kitchen.

DO NOT BUY, JUNK
CHANGING RATING AGAIN: do not buy, the springs are not built to last. Find another seller. JUST CHANGED MY REVIEW: As much as I love them, they are a problem. Just after a few uses, the adapters lost their ability to keep the doors from slamming. Slowing each cabinet is starting to slam again. We have tweaked the adapters and still are not helping. I don't know if they are defective or if, over time, they just lose their resistance. Still trying to figure out how to tweak them. If you find another brand, you may be better off going with them since these do not last after only 2 weeks. I am very disappointed. I love these; they don't require too much work to install, but they have to be done right. They definitely help with the slamming of cabinet doors. They work great to keep them still and slowly close.

Let's make some noise! My kitchen is too quiet.
I recently remodeled the kitchen, including painting my cabinets. Anyone who painted a cabinet before knows how much time and effort that takes. With that new coat of paint, I definitely don't want any paint chipping off by slammed cabinet door. At first I was looking for those little adhesive round damper when I came across this hardware. I never knew about this before. For $2 a piece, I think that is relatively inexpensive. I'm no longer worried about someone slamming my cabinet and ruin my painting efforts. But more importantly, it eliminates that annoying door-slamming sound from my home. I included a video so you can see how effective it is. Note though that I also added an adhesive damper at the top corner. The hardware soften any slamming or door-closing mechanism. However, when the door gets to the end, it makes a tiny rattling/vibrating sound. It's still better than the annoying slamming sound, and it can be ignored. I added the adhesive damper (also from Rok) at the corner and sound is relatively eliminated. Another small issue is some of these hardwares make a sound on impact with the door if the knob is not adjusted all the way out. When the door open, the part that gets in contact with the door is pulled out, then when the door closes, it pushes that part back in before the damping mechanism takes place, making a little clicking sound. All and all, I'm really happy with the product. It's plastic and lightweight but seems quality-built. I give it 4.5 stars. Remember also to use only with self-closing hinges

Cheap "soft close" add-on
These are great little units to make your older cabinets become soft closing ones. The materials are decent but as many others commented, they are made of a chromed plastic and plastic parts. I don't believe that really impacts functionality in any way, however, time will tell if it impacts longevity. Installation is a breeze. You just line it up where it should go, pre-drill your hole then put in your screw. After that you have to try it out as different cabinets might need adjustments. In my case I tested one in our garage cabinet (see video) and it worked great without the need for any tweaking. It's a totally different story for our kitchen cabinets though. Those are more of a flush mount style and once you add this device, it requires a small gap to be present or the doors won't close. It takes quite a bit of adjusting to space out the doors just right so that they can close ok and remain lined up properly. The disadvantage here is that you lose the flush mount look and now have a small gap all around your door. In our case, it's not a big deal for some that might be a dealbreaker. Once your cabinet is tweaked properly, the unit works well. You can adjust the tension via a small knob on the back of them. This makes your door close faster or slower depending on how you adjust. I tested that adjustment and found that the original setting was perfectly fine for me. Overall, if you're looking to add soft close abilities to your cabinets then you can't really go wrong with these. Pros: Work as intended Easy to install Can be adjusted Cons: Made of plastic requires a gap in the cabinets to account for the pin

Smooth
For being plastic, these work surprisingly well and the included screws were tough, not the easily stripped kind. It was a bit hard to get them to go in straight and a little pad of tape on the back side of these would have made them much easier to mount. Press them into place first then screw them in. There was also a large variability with regards to how slow each of them worked relative to each other. The backing screw to adjust the tension only worked so so. Only had them in a few hours but will see how they last. Had a few extra left over.

Works great, so simple to install!
Was very easy to install, works great. Can adjust the speed for closing. Although they are plastic, they look like metal, and are of good quality. Great way to upgrade cabinets.

Satisfactory
We have solid wood cabinets and for some of the larger doors we had to use 2 hinges, which we didn’t expect. For the smaller/lighter doors the hinges work well. Easily installed. Hope the product holds up in the long run. We are now short hinges for some of our doors as we didn’t anticipate having to use 2 on some doors.
