These blades last forever, a great value.
I used to laugh at the tendency every few years for the razor companies adding another blade to their razor blades and beyond 2 blades I always felt like it was just marketing nonsense. I'd have never bought one with 3 or more blades but someone gave me a Schick Hydro 5 they were sent free in the mail and I tried it out and had the best shave of my life. I used that single blade it came with for 2+ years, using it about twice a week. The first year and a half the blade was in great shape and it still worked decent until I finally bought the new blades here. According to my Amazon history I bought these on March 14, 2016, and I'm still using the first blade I took out of the package and it still has life left in it, partially because I use an electric razor about 1/3 of the time. The lubricant strips wear away in a month or so, but the blade keeps on working well enough for me to keep using them. Previously I used a Gillette Sensor and had to change blades every 2 months or so. It's surprising how long these Hydra blades last for me shaving approx twice a week on average. For those that shave every day, and prefer to have a fresh blade with the lubricant strip active would have to change them every few weeks/months, but if you're an anomaly like me and like to use the blades until they don't cut well and start to irritate the face before changing, these have insane longevity. I'll definitely buy another package of these in 2041 when my last razor blade from the current package gets dull. It sounds funny but at the current burn rate of my blades they'll probably actually last that long. I suspect the average person who changes a lot more often will get a good month out of a blade for sure.

The best razor for the price
I used to use Gillette Fusion Proglide blades exclusively, but the price was getting ridiculous, so I tried out Harry's razors. Harry's had a fantastic trimming blade on the back side, but the razor itself wasn't very smooth, and with currency exchange and shipping fees, they didn't end up being much cheaper than Gillette blades. As an alternative, I tried these Schick blades and they won me over with their incredibly smooth shave, close cut and low cost per blade (especially, these bulk packs).Since switching over to Schick, I've converted my wife as well and now we both use these blades. My wife also finds that the blades are very smooth and work well for shaving her legs, plus they're much cheaper than the overpriced women's razor blades most brands sell.

Best shaver there is, even better than Gillette Proglide
I used to use Gillette Fusion Proglide, but i was sick of paying their ridiculous prices. I tried Harry's blades, but they didn't shave that great and they felt cheap, plus the exchange rate really hurt the cost savings. I tried these Schick Hydro 5 blades and they are my new favourite. They shave even better than the Gillette Fusion Proglide blades, plus they cause very little razor burn and lubricate the skin excellently. My only issue is the trimming edge isn't as good as Gillette's (Harry's has the best trimming edge), but they shave so well and are quite a bit cheaper than Gillette blades.

Love these blades + Cheaper than Wal Mart!
Personally, I moved from Gillette products to Schick for several reasons initially, a large one being the cost. Now, Schick products are similarly priced, but I find the blades to stay sharp longer, which to me indicates a better quality shaver.Hard to complain when Amazon has them for $5 cheaper than Wal-Mart. Im happy with my purchase.

The closest shave there is.
I have come full circle back to these blades. I do resent even paying this lower price ($5 more at my local drug store) .But the 5 blade razor is the best. I was a 3 blade user and laughed at 5 blades when I was given a few free samples. I could really tell the difference. But in the last couple of years I went old school, bought a straight razor and a single blade safety razor, I love the ritual and the skill required and still use them from time to time, I don't nick or cut myself so that's not a drawback for me. But if I want a fast, efficient shave these are the way to go, they give a closer shave than a straight razor or safety razor or 3 blade razor.
