I went from sponges, that after a short period of time would fall apart, to these. These definitely have a longer life span and seem to soap up quite quickly. Also, a nice gentle scrub against the skin. I am sold on these over the sponges.

These are “luxurious” well made loofas! More than two times thicker in volume and feel than others I’ve used. They are the to my question, “ does any make a loofah that is not single layered and just tied in the middle of a small handful of foil cloth at an affordable price?” The answer is yes, MAINBASICS!
