Easy to use - saves money by not using the main oven.

As what to be expected from an oven of this size capacity isn’t going to be overwhelming and it’s not the most powerful - but consider the price point vs a household appliance and I think this not unreasonable.I would have like the shelf and tray to be able to sit a little further apart but having used it once it’s a suitable solution for our Campervan and allowed us to heat up some food on the tray and cook a mini pizza on the shelf.The pizza took 2-3 times longer than in a conventional oven and was a little doughy but I wasn’t expecting home oven results and the kids didn’t seem to mind!I would recommend switching it on for a good 15-20 minutes somewhere well ventilated when first unpacked as it (as detailed in the manual) let’s off some reasonable levels of smoke on first use. On second use though this was non existent, which was reassuring.It is sturdy yet compact and light and seems good quality so far, as I would expect from Salter.It has a light on the front (not internally) when in operation which is good so you know it’s on as the element does brighten and fade out during cooking to maintain temperature at the set level. You have to have the timer going like many similar models which isn’t a problem but note you have to wait for it to get to zero before turning off, so don’t just crank it up (or force it down to 0)All in all for the price and the non-everyday use we need it for in a Campervan it’s a good buy and stores neatly under the rear seat area when not in use.

Bought as a temporary oven when the big one went wrong. However we are still using it regularly a year later as it uses less electricity when you just want a few things cooking. So much better than a microwave!

Did what it says on tin, bought this as a replacement for our old unit. If I was to be critical, it would be that it would benefit from a circulating fan (which our old unit had) but still a great little oven

I’m very disappointed with the oven it seems to take a very long time to cook things; sausages have taken 35 minutes to cook after the oven is at the correct temperature. I have being using a mini oven for three years and had no problems till it stopped working. I thought I would replace it with a larger type with a rotisserie.There is no rubbers fitted to the plastic legs and the oven moves on the work top when you take out the food this is very dangerous. This seems to be done on other makes of the mini I have fitted a rubber stop end bunk to the hole in the legs the same has other makes of mini ovens.This should have been ovens done by the manufacture.

Not happy with this item no proper instructions no way of contact only by robot which didn’t work to say the company had been going years it’s not good

Ignoring my own instincts I tried baking a cake with only the bottom elements, as indicated by the leaflet provided. Predictably, the bottom of the cake burnt black.I now use this little oven with both top and bottom elements, leaving the tray provided to disperse the heat generated by the bottom elements to prevent burnt bottoms! Now works a treat.Would have been 5 stars if the leaflet had been correct.Rotisserie not yet used, but this little oven is only big enough for a small chicken, which is ample for 1 or 2 people.I wish I had bought this earlier. Would probably have halved my electric bills, as I now don't have to heat up my big oven to make small things like a cake, or heat up pizza. Baking had become something I could no longer enjoy because my in-built electric oven is so expensive to use. I can now enjoy home made pies, etc, without worrying about the cost.

Very easy to use temperature control easy to use...nice little oven cooks well..value for money
