Great scope. Easy to use and great magnification, wonderful price. My partner and I enjoy it more than the kids, but that's to be expected, the kids are 3&5.

This thing is really cool. The included software CD was easy to install. I copied the files to my network file server to access and install on all my local devices without having to run the CD on each one. The kids and I have had a blast looking at different things like bugs, money, hair etc... It's not as powerful as a "real" microscope, but a really cool and educational toy we all enjoy.

I purchased this for my four year old daughter and nephew and it is so great. Perfect tool to spark interest in the younger crowd. The software is easy to install with the step by step instructions (I’m not technologically savvy at all). The microscope itself is small, it fits in the palm of your hand (picture for reference). The magnifying quality is great for the price. I included a few snapshots of items we observed.. glitter, flower stem, fabric, and a fruit loop. This was easily two solid hours of fun and family time for myself, my daughter, and my husband. We had a blast searching for the next item to observe. Now when we go out we look for anything we could bring back home to observe under our Zoomy. Only 4 stars given because it does lag a little bit but other than that this is so worth every penny.

This amazing handheld microscope that shows your digital images on your computer screen! Got it for my daughter's bd and we are literally in awe of it! If you had told me that we could get such incredible close-up views, for such a reasonable price, I would not have believed it. You can even take photos and videos with it. The software was super-easy to install, our laptop easily recognized the microscope, and we had a lot of fun with it right away!If you place it on a smooth t-shirt, you can quickly & easily see a close view of the actual fabric weaving. We put it on a teenage boy's upper lip so he could prove he actually had mustache hairs (and he did!). :-) We placed it on a newly-sharpened pencil and couldn't believe how round the point of the pencil actually was. Can't wait to use it tomorrow on some fruit and onion and other things! One of my sons is going to hook it up to the tv so we can really see a big picture! It comes in blue, green or purple.The only slightly-negative part is that the focuser requires a little bit of force to move. Perhaps it'll loosen up as we use it more.This microscope had everyone in our family, from age 10 to age (?) really fascinated! A great item!

Have for school and love! Kids love looking at everything under this! Easy to push a button and take a picture. Comes with a cd set up...not sure if they have moved to web base or app yet bc many computers dont have cd.

The software won't install on our home laptop with Windows 8. It installed easily on my husband's work laptop that has Windows 10. This little magnifer is a lot of fun, but that doesn't mean much if I can't get it to work on the home computer. I'd likely update this rating to 4 or 5 stars if I could get it to work. Very disappointed. :(

Hard to get a stable image and try to take a picture while holding it.

I've had several versions of Zoomy and they never fail to be perfect for my needs. My grandchildren have fun with them, too. You can get great magnified digital pictures of hard to read hallmarks on silver, coins in collections, veins of leaves and flowers, you name it and a close-up picture is possible. This version works with Windows 10, whereas the older version does not.
