Our first time to install a drip irrigation system. Very easy installation process & came with plenty of hoses and nozzles for our small backyard garden. We do recommend you purchase a water pressure regulator & automatic timer ( not included with the kit.)

It was super hard to fit the smaller end with my 1/2 tubing from home depot.After reading comments here, I tried to put the tubing into hot/boiling water for one minute and then squeeze it in. It worked perfectly!

Original Post:These (.600") drip fittings sold by Amazon, but the 1/2" ID tubing I purchased at Amazon is too large, so is the 1/2" ID tubing at the big box stores. These fitting look to be of good quality and I would like to use them. One would think Amazon would sell both hose & fittings, so where is the hose?Revised:It now appears there are numerous sellers on Amazon are peddling these fittings whether they are black, green or blue. The one thing all these seller/fittings have in common is they are undersized for standard 0.700" drip irrigation hose that has been the standard in the USA for years. These Made in China are good quality fittings at a reasonable price that can work well if you can adapt them, but first you need to start off finding a pipe that they will fit.After a number of bud purchases of hose that will not work I was able to find a very good quality thick wall pipe that can work with these fittings. The hose is made by Rain Bird (1/2 in. (0.63 in. O.D.) black with a blue/green stripe, sold by Home Depot, Amazon as well as others about $42 for 500 feet! If the end of the hose is submerged in boiling water for about 10 -15 seconds it will soften and allow the hose to slip on these fitting without much effort and hold tight. The main problem is the threaded collar's opening is too small even for the Rain Bird's diameter hose. Fortunately, I have 43/64" (0.762") mill bit, a drill bit would work also. I have a lathe, which made it simple to chuck up the mill bit and by hand slide the retaining collar over the very slow turning mill bit to open the collar's diameter a few thousands of an inch. This allows the collar a snug fit over the hose. In a few minutes I had a box full of modified fittings that I can now use instead of having to return them all.

Works well with my irrigation system.

Easy to make connection to the 1/2" hose. Slips right in and tightens down with the screw attachment and there are never any leaks

Have yet to use them but I can tell they're well built and will last a long time.

Bought these to save money over the ones with the green caps- but the plastic these are made from makes these much harder to get on.

Does the job. Works well.

Jag letade flera veckor efter en möjlighet att koppla ihop en tjockare slang med droppbevattningens små slangar. Hittade absolut ingenting...Sen dök plötsligt den här produkten upp i mitt Amazon flöde. Omöjligt att hittar den vid denna beskrivning som är ju en blandning av svenska och engelska.Men man bli riktigt glad när man har hittad den! Fungerar bra med vanliga båtslånger men även med vissa tunnare trägårdslangar, inga läckage och bra värde för pengar...Bara att jag skulle har hittade dom några veckor innan när man söker efter "droppbevattning" eller T-koppling, eller slangkopping....
