I'm not a golfer. I bought these shoes to wear when I'm taking care of the plants on the steep hillsides outside our house. It's scary to remember how many times I've fallen and rolled down one of those hills--once with a big, very sharp soil knife in my hand. I weeded one of the hillsides this week, wearing my new golf shoes. No slips, no falls. I was still careful, but I didn't slip at all. On a hot day when I was sweating from head to toe, they left a bit of black dye on my feet, but at least my feet--and other bones--aren't broken. I count that as success.
