I initially purchased this for my 5 year old. But I my husband and I have also been using this and it is perfect. Easy to clean and light. We have used this in the dishwasher and it is still holding up well. Highly recommend this item.

These are really great plates. I hardly know where to begin.* The 8.8-inch size is perfect. I wanted something a little smaller than my big dinner plates, but a little bigger than my salad/dessert plates, and these are exactly that.* These are really deep. They’re almost a shallow bowl. They’re a bit over an inch deep. So if you have something saucy, no problem. These will keep everything corralled. The high edge combined with the prominent ridge on the bottom also makes them super easy to securely hold onto. They’d be perfect for a stand-up buffet or any other occasion when people will be carrying filled plates. Absolutely ideal for kids.* The blue color is very pretty.* They feel super strong and durable. I also have a set of dinner plates made out of this material, so I know from experience that they’ve held up perfectly to use, and these feel even more sturdy due to that high edge.* They’re microwavable! It’s so rare to find a lightweight, microwavable dish, especially one that’s attractive and reusable. And, of course, they’re dishwashable.Overall, these are just fantastic plates. You’ll find yourself reaching for these all the time as your most-used, go-to plates. Highly recommended.

Always on the lookout for eco friendly things I have to confess I got these out of curiosity more that need and ended up liking them a lot. They are light, just the right size and have a nice height/curve up to the edge, sort of like a low bowl that should help keep something from sliding off especially with kids. I didn't try to test their "indestructible claim but they gave me no reason to dispute it. I bent, flexed (they are quite flexible), dropped them, threw them like a frisbee and they come out unscathed. The price seems a little high but if they last I would get them. They also have bowl and drinking cup sets I want to get before I go camping this year.

These plates are a nice size for pasta and with the sides like a bowl really are perfect for pasta dishes. Plenty of room to dish out the spaghetti and meatballs and sauce and not worry about it flowing off the side of the plate. Of course, they are good for anything else you might want to eat off them but we love them for pasta night. They are easy to clean in the dishwasher. Lightweight so good for taking camping, keeping in the trailer, or using on the patio. So far haven't broken any even by dropping. Nice plate and it is nice to know that they are supposed to be biodegradable so they will decompose in the dump unlike plastic plates.
