表紙絵に惹かれて買ったが、内容を見て失望。全１７５ページ中、モノクロ絵６５ページ（文章に添付された絵も含む）、文章だけのページは８０ページにも及ぶ。カラー作品のページは３０ページだけ。つまり文章も含めモノクロのページが８３％、カラーのページは全体の１７％に過ぎず、非常に少ない。人物の部分は１５ページあるが、これもすべてモノクロ。諸々の作品は素早く描かれてはいるが、タッチも荒く透明水彩のデリカシーも感じられない。「勢いだけで描きました」という印象。色のセンスも？マーク。冒頭のように本の構成からみてもいい買い物をしたとは思えない。表紙絵をだけを見るとTrevor Chamberlainのような作風かと期待したが、彼と比較するのは失礼なくらいのレベルでした。

Excellent book, great condition.

Condition of book was marked as very good. Since the spine was stiff and pages clean, I’m guessing it was unread. Top of spine was torn and that corner appeared to have been jammed, bending all pages and covers. Because the condition was listed as Very Good, I’m guessing this happened in shipping, packaging was plastic bubble wrap, big enough to allow the book to slide around.
