It was super easy to install on my window and is super sturdy. I've had it a few months and there has never been even the slightest wobble even though it is constantly in use. The sturdiness comes from the high quality, oversized, heat and screw-in suction cups--you'll see when you buy it. You soak the suction cups in hot water for a few minutes and this makes them super malleable and thus they attach to your window like nobody's business. Then you push them on and tighten them with these awesome screws. The perch isn't coming off the window unless you remove it, no matter how big your cat is. Both my cats jump on it throughout the day, and regarding size, although only one cat can lie on it at a time, sometimes they both sit on it simultaneously. They also play on it, batting at each other with one underneath it. It lets my cats look out into my front yard and get sun all day, or wind when I leave the window open. It's especially enjoyed by the cat who refused the other three cat beds I've bought and who likes to not only sleep on it but also to use it as a scratch post. Even after a few months, there is no detectable degradation of the carpet-like padding despite her clawing. This was a great value, especially considering the quality of the product.

This ledge was purchased for my 2 cats because they love being high up. I was trying to deter them from going on the counter, and this has worked so well. Very easy assembly, probably took 15-20 mins. Very stable once suctioned onto the window, has not even budged. Great price for such a quality item, love the wood. The carpet could easily be replaced once worn out and can be thrown in washing machine to clean. Highly recommend!

Didn’t think I’d turn into the kind of person who installs furniture for my cat, but here we are. This window perch is basically her penthouse suite. I’m hands down the best suction cup system I’ve ever seen and they’ve been rock solid — even during her dramatic launch takeoffs up to the loft. Setup took maybe three minutes and zero swear words, which already puts it ahead of half the furniture I own. It actually looks nice too — smoothl, beautiful wood, not plastic — so I don’t feel like I’ve turned my house into a cat jungle gym. Absolutely fantastic quality. Has thin small loop Berber carpet so she uses it as a scratching place and it will never show. Pro tip: wipe the glass before you stick it on, then press and twist each suction cup tight. That’s it. My cat’s been parked up there like he’s watching live TV ever since.

This is easily the best thing I have purchased for my cat!! We have the bottom half of our windows covered so he was unable to look out. The suction cups have not budged in the slightest! Very sturdy. With the position in the window I was worried because he has to jump on and off of it, but it has remained sturdy. Our cat does not like soft fluffy so the carpet store that came with this is perfect! Putting it together and up was a breeze! He has been using this for over a month and it is incredible. Our cat is an adult - probably about 30 pounds for reference.

My cat absolutely loves this perch. It was very easy to put up, and while I wasn't sure how much I trusted the suction cups at first, it has held up to his leaping, wrassling, and rough-housing for several months now. Hasn't moved from its spot in the window since we bought it. It very quickly became his primary place to hang out, and it still is.

My active boy seems happy with this- just put it up today. It might be a little wobbly at first for one person to assemble but I managed ok. I recommend having a screwdriver handy. I'm not crazy about the suction cup fasteners being plastic- other window perches I've bought were all metal (but all too large for my windows). I'd say just be careful not to overtighten the suction cup fasteners as plastic threads may strip easier than metal. However this seems pretty sturdy and my boy likes the sure-footedness of the wood as opposed to the hammock styles on others. The carpet pad is removable but has very good strong velcro to hold up against his scratchies. Only took maybe 10-15 mins to set up and seems to be on well. Did not give 5 stars only because the longevity has yet to be determined. For reference Wally is 10.5 pounds but very long (I should have taken his height into account when I installed it). He can't entirely lay out on this but he is happy to sit and watch the birds. Wallys happy so I'm happy! I actually bought 2 of these with a giftcard and I'm glad I did.

Took about half an hour to put it together. Not difficult, just an extra step to consider. Recommend using your own tools to make it easier. Installation onto the window was easy. I did have help to make sure it was level, but it is possible. It’s been up for 2 months and it hasn’t loosened at all. And of course the kitty loves it. Gives her an escape from children and the other cat. I also love how the carpet pads are thin and velcroed for easy removal and cleaning. It does take up some window space, but it’s worth it for all the other benefits. This is much sturdier and easier to clean than traditional carpeted cat towers that seem to fall apart and trap cat hair. 10/10!

Cat loves it! Put on sliding glass door. The suctions are very large and work extremely well! Its super sturdy! So easy to put together and well worth the money!

Très satisfait de cet achat ! Les ventouses sont vraiment solides à condition de bien respecter les consignes de pose. Mon chat fait 5-6 kg et saute régulièrement dessus, ça ne bouge pas. La taille est parfaite pour ma fenêtre (44 cm de large) et il adore s’y installer pour regarder dehors ou même dormir. Je recommande totalement !

Die katzen liege fürs Fenster ist wirklich gut und stabil. Hält super mit den saugnopen .Es sind aber auch Schrauben mit drin falls man es an der Wand befestigen möchte .

Liebes Tagebuch, heute war ein denkwürdiger Tag. Mein Mensch – normalerweise zuständig für Dosenöffnen, Streicheleinheiten und gelegentliche Peinlichkeiten – hat ENDLICH etwas richtig gemacht. Ein mysteriöses Paket kam an. Ich ignorierte es erst (Strategie: Desinteresse erzeugt Spannung). Doch plötzlich – zack! – baute mein Mensch etwas am Fenster zusammen. Ich tat so, als ob ich schlafen würde. Aber natürlich hatte ich alles im Blick. Dann sah ich ihn: MEIN NEUER THRON. Pecute nennt man das Ding. Ich nenne es: "Hochsitz der flauschigen Allmacht". Er hängt am Fenster – mit riesigen Saugnäpfen, die offenbar an der Scheibe haften wie meine Zunge am Leckerli. Ich sprang rauf. Kein Wackeln. Kein Rutschen. Stabil wie mein Desinteresse an Gurken. Die Filzunterlage? Flauschig. Waschbar (was mir egal ist, aber den Mensch freut’s). Die Aussicht? Panoramablick auf Spatzen-TV. Ich lag da, die Sonne schien auf mein Fell, und ich dachte: „So fühlt sich König*in sein an.“ Später kam der Kater von gegenüber vorbei. Er sah mich am Fenster thronen – und ich schwöre, er verbeugte sich innerlich. Fazit des Tages: Ich werde nie wieder woanders liegen. Mein Mensch darf zur Belohnung heute ausnahmsweise meine Pfote berühren. Vielleicht. Mit königlichem Miau, Eure Majestät Miezi von Fensterhausen 🐾👑

I bought this perch specifically because I wanted to put it in a narrow window, and the design of this one allows some room for the suction cups to be moved horizontally on the rods, so it fits easily (as opposed to similar products I considered). As with any pet accessory, you never know if they'll actually take to it until you've bought it - but this was a great success, and is the cat's new favourite spot. She even uses the scratch pad base, which I was doubtful about. And, it's just as sturdy as described - not a wobble or budge since installation .
