Angry Birds Advent Calendar Game

This was a great advent calendar for my son who loves angry birds. The game aspect was great because Christmas eve we had a new game to play as a family! The game itself is a bit tricky as it takes several shots to figure out how much force to use and lends itself to excellent "house rules". A way to store the game would have been an excellent gift for one of the days. We use a gallon Ziplock to try and keep the pieces from getting lost. I wish there was a new version of this yearly. My son had no problems with getting brick after brick. He just used them to build bigger things to knock down.

This is fun as a game, after you've got it all opened up and have all the pieces in hand. But for an advent calendar it's a bit ho-hum. It's exhausting for a kid to get 20 days worth of plastic blocks, one at a time. My kid lost steam by day 5 or so. It's a good set! Sturdy toys and all that. But maybe it would be better as a game in the first place, not as an advent calendar.

Good for what it is. All the advent calendars seemed a bit overpriced for what they are. This is a decent alternative to candy but too many compartments have blocks. Our kid got bored with it soon and didn't finish opening it.

My 11 and 9 year old sons agree that this is their favorite advent calendar to date! We have had Lego in the past, but they enjoy the game playing in this calendar better than minimal building. ( They still play with legos, but enjoy the more advanced creator / architecture / windstorms). Highly recommend! Great price and a lot of fun!!

Great toy!!! I would have given it 5 stars, if the block would have formed a tree and were green and red.

My son loves an advent calendar where he gets a "prize" every day. This is an okay idea, but most days he was getting a bar looking thing, to build with later. By the time he got all of them open, he was already bored with it. He liked the Star Wars advent calendar last year much better, but that thing was $60 this year - no way!!

Since we already have sets to this game, we were prepared for the blocks to birds ratio. Compared to other sets, the blocks are fantastic! Plus, now we get a replacement launcher and red. The kids loved the holiday theme hats for the pigs.Basically, this is a FULL GAME SET. You get point cards and try to knock over the card's block configuration to win....kind of like the digital game.

Every year we try something this was cute.

Beaucoup plus à mon petit fils que ce calendrier amuse beaucoup en l ouvrant chaque jour il découvre de nouveaux tresors

Der Kalender ist zwar teuer (7 € teurer als das Spiel sonst kosten würde), aber er ist es wert, mein vierjähriger Sohn freut sich jeden Tag darüber. Die Aufteilung ist m.E. bis jetzt sehr gut. Am ersten Tag die Schleuder, am zweiten der begehrte rote Vogel, dann ein Bauteil, dann schon ein Schweinchen, ... wir sind erst bei Tag 5, aber er spielt schon fleißig damit und freut sich über jedes weitere Bauteil. Die Sachen sehen nicht billig aus, so dass er denke ich auch lange etwas davon haben wird. Ich bin absolut happy damit.
