Love it! After researching and researching to find the perfect mat, I finally decided to try this one. My new house has tile counter tops, so I needed a flat surface to roll out dough. I make all our bread from scratch so having a mat that was large enough to actually roll out and knead dough was critical for me. I love the size of this mat. The material clings to the counter and doesn't move when I work dough over on the mat. The mat cleans very easily (the most difficult part is figuring out how to angle it in the sink for rinsing). I like that it rolls up and can be put away in a cabinet until it is needed. Highly recommend for people looking for a surface to use for dough.

I can't believe I lived without this for so long!!! I have a Tupperware one that was just ok. However it slid all over the place, and eventually got a puncture hole in (someone used a knife on it), and that caused a rough spot that ended up poking holes in my dough. This Bake Buddy pastry mat is awesome!!! Not only is it much larger than my old one (resulting in less flour mess on my counter!), it also sticks very well to the counter and does not move at all, no matter how hard I push the dough!!! I really love that there are markings for the various size pies, and they are very easy to read! And clean up? SOOOOOO easy!!! I just clean with a little soap and water in the sink, and then (this is the best part) I just open the door and shake the water off outside. It literally just rolls off and it's dry!!! Then you just roll it up and store it. Oh, and when you unroll it, it always lays flat! I guarantee you will love this as much as I do. I think I am going to buy another one for my daughter. Highly recommended!!!

I LOVE this pastry mat! It arrived last week and I've used it 4 times. So far, I've only rolled out sugar cookies on it, but it was perfect. The dough didn't stick at all. Clean up was a breeze. Even though it is safe for the dishwasher, I hand washed it, let it air dry, then rolled it right up. Because it is so new, I can't speak to the durability but it should last quite awhile as long as you don't cut on it. Using cookie cutters was no problem. This mat is larger than most I saw and having the extra inches is really nice.

The size of this sheet is perfect for my counter top and it is easy to clean. I set it on the counter when I work bread dough or make pastries. the pie rings on the center of the sheet also helps with sizing when rolling out pie shells. I usually wipe it or wash it by hand, I have not tried to put it in the dish washer. I also own a King Author silicon baking sheet which is much smaller and much more expensive. I believe the thickness of these two sheets are comparable. The only difference is my King Author sheet has a higher temp grade of 500F whereas the baking buddy one has a 450F upper limit, but I do not plan on baking with it (too large for my baking sheets). I use my King Arthur silicone sheet in the oven in stead of parchment papers for meat balls, cookies and other things.

Just received this and tried it out last night for rolling some homemade pizza dough and it worked perfect. Even better than cornmeal flour. The first test couldn’t have gone any better.The size guide was useful since up till now it has just been eyeing the paddle and hoping one edge or another wouldn’t hang over too far.The size of the mat itself is also good. Not too big, but plenty of room for even rolling out a pizza on.The mat itself stuck to the counter very well, no slipping had at all. In fact when I did try to absently pull it over for more room on the counter I couldn’t budge it, just lift up either side and pick it completely up to re-position.Clean-up was a damp cloth swipe then done.The mat came rolled tight with tissue paper in a plastic sleeve and arrived fine, no crunches, folds, dents or holes.Cheers.

Great for getting pie crusts to the correct size or rectangle out for cinnamon rolls.Keeps the counter a bit cleaner, and probably more sanitary than most kitchen counters if it's washed well after use and put away dry.It's not really super easy to clean and I'm don't remember if it's dishwasher safe or not. I just roll it up and put it in the sink. Then I wash and unroll as I go rolling up from the other side.Make sure you let it completely dry before you put it away.

When this arrived, we were a little concerned about how thin it is. Yet in using it, it's clear it's a tough little mat. And because it is thin, it's easy to roll up and store. The guidelines are a nice help. Tactically, it has a slight sticky feel (which could be due to our humid climate). But, using plenty of flour made things come off just fine.We also bought it because it is large enough to cover our kitchen island (see photo). That way, we don't get flour and crumbs down in between the granite and the wood edges.*Note from the chef - "I'm still going to need to use wax paper, because I'm afraid to cut on the mat. I used a spatula to cut dough for dinner rolls and noticed no adverse effects."This fine comment falls under the 'shipping' category, but perhaps should be included here, too. This came in a HUGE box that could have held 50 of these. Someone needs to invest in shipping tubes. ;)

This is a great mat. Yes it is thin but the material is durable. It is tacky on both sides so this will not slip. Tested on a wooden table. I like that this mat has measurement for round and also square. Most Mats have round only I use square pans. Now I dont have to stop and measure as I roll. I roll to the length I need. This will be my main mat from now on. Its legible and it has grids for measuring. I have used it to test place decorations before putting on the cake. This is just an all around great mat for the price. I chose the larger mat and am glad I did. It rolls up easy or you can fold for storage. Unlike my other mats that are big rolls and take up more space. Honestly I wish they would make one that is double the large size. This would be good on a table when you have little ones helping. All the mess will stay on the mat. You can lift it and transport right to the kitchen sink.

Love this product. I’m an occasional and not very experienced baker. So this set is very easy to use and clean and helps to get the job done. Also doesn’t take a lot of storing space. Very good product for the price.

I love this mat! It stays put where you place it! It is exactly how described and arrived the next day. I will be ordering the larger size as well for the bigger jobs. The rolling pin is thin and the length of the mat. Works well.

Works like a charm. Sticks to the counter not to the dough. Excellent measurement markings. Nice long roller. Did the job!
