This is a pretty cool bag. I don't necessarily think I or most people would use this as a say to day bag. The bag is big. However for traveling it's definitely the bag I will be using. I have been using the cocoon Slim XL backpack for the last year or so and love it. Originally I thought that this bag had a backpack that completely unzipped from the duffle back portion of the unit. This would have been the perfect bag for everyday and travel if that was the case however the zipper just compresses the duffel back section. Even with it compressed its still rather large. I think I will probably move to the standard cocoon Slim as my regular bag since I now have a smaller laptop.

The backpack is heavy to begin with and all that weight that's already on it really adds up after you're done packing and I like to pack light so I'm more versatile when I travel. This is a weekend warrior or short trip backpack but after carrying this around for a couple of hours, you're going to feel the strain. It's durable and is a great concept but it needs to lose some weight. Keep the durability but reduce the weight. I was going to use this as my go-to weekend warrior but anymore. I'll be using this on certain occasions.

It was an excellent bag for a while then the zipper lost some teeth and now I can zip it all the way. I don't know how I'm going to fix this. If anyone has recommendations on how to get this fixed let me know. I'm just disappointed that my favorite bag is broke.

I was really excited to get this bag. It worked perfectly for about a 5 days on our Europe trip and then where the backpack straps connect to the bottom of the bag, ripped a hole in the bag :(. Super bummed about this because it wasn't cheap.

Traveled out of country for a month and lived completely out of this bag. Worked great! One recommendation: make the back part of the bag (laptop holder) detachable!

Nice and big, lot's of room. Only problems are with the shoulder straps are not comfortable and some of the stitching on the inside of the bag.

I’ve been through two of these now. It looks great but the back pack straps tear out if you put any weight in it. Pass on this bag.

Really loved this bag, but half way through my international trip, the strap broke and tore through the fabric. I had to duct tape the bag together to get back home. I contacted Cocoon directly, even though it had been purchased through Amazon. They were super fast to reply with a replacement shipped out immediately. Great customer service. Hoping this one works better.

Der Rucksack hat viele Vorteile:- Sehr gute Raumaufteilung- Intelligentes Stausystem für Kleingeräte und Kabel- gepolstertes Notebook-Fach- Vergrößerbarer Innenraum durch Zusatzreisverschluss.- Der Leinwand-Stoff ist angenehm.Leider überwiegen die Nachteile:- Die Qualität ist absolut mangelhaft: Die Reißverschlüsse gehen leicht kaputt, sowohl die Anhänger an den Schiffchen als auch die Kunststoff-Zinken der Reißverschlüsse selbst, wodurch die Schiffchen aus der Schiene springen und nur schwer wieder einzusetzen sind.- Die Nieten zum Verschließen des Tragegriffs sind beide innerhalb von wenigen Monaten abgefallen.- Die Gurte für den Rücken sind viel zu lang und lassen sich nur sehr schlecht verstellen. Ich habe diese deutlich gekürzt, was das Problem aber nur zur Hälfte löst.Jetzt suche ich nach einem Nachfolger. Cocoon wird es aufgrund der schlechten Qualität nicht wieder.

Good design. Should be waterproof for the price, though.I like that the backpack straps have their own compartment.
