Very pleased with this
I wanted to pack this to use on museum and art gallery visits. It's great, folds small and is really sturdy. Super easy to open. A bit harder to close, but if I use my foot it's fine. Good height, 16" is good for me to stand up from. Many of the ones I looked at were 11" or 13". Really lightweight, fits in my carry-on without taking too much room. Also has a handy carrying case. Great price, too!

Extremely portable and easy to use
Every time I break this chair out people are amazed by how compact, light and sturdy it is. I weigh around 255 and it supports me without the feeling of it could break. Great price and compactness.

Probably OK, with conditions
Based on my initial "testing", giving the benefit of the doubt to this stool/chair for now by giving 4 stars (purpose to provide a transportable, temporary place to sit at an inexpensive price). The true test will come when I take it on my trip and have to deploy it to sit down to rest my old legs for maybe 30 minutes in areas of an old town which does not have any place to sit in its narrow streets. If I can find a curb or a ledge or railing, I will choose to use those, rather than open this folding chair. Why? Because as others have written, the metal tubing components of this chair are attached/pulled together with a bungee-cord-like cord, which keeps the tubing and everything together, including the seat, but initially DOES makes it a challenge to 1) pull apart & connect the chair's aluminum tubing, and 2) pull apart the tubing to disassemble the chair and twist back into its compact folded form. The flip side of this is whether and how long the tight elasticity of the cord will last. Will it reach a point where it doesn't? But this may not be an issue because 1) you can still (more easily probably) put the chair together without the cord; 2) the cord may not really be necessary except to keep the parts together; and 3) the chair itself may not outlast the cord. Haha. I agree with the reviewers who say that it is NOT THAT HARD to twist open and close the chair (and insert/connect/disconnect the tubing). You just need to ENGAGE your brain and observe things for a few seconds BEFORE you JUST start pulling (pulling is the part that requires a bit of strength). It is NOT rocket science stuff. I realize though that not all people/brains are mechanically or three-dimensionally inclined - whether there are instructions or not - for what to others is a rather simple assembly/disassembly operation. Hence, the criticism re opening and closing this chair. Also, it does require more than just a child's or senior's strength to assemble/disassemble. The height of this stool at 16" is not too low, and better, as some have written, than having to try and get up from a stool of 11-13 inches. Re the weight limit and sturdiness. I am north of 200 lbs. The chair "compressed" down slightly when I sat on it (the seat material and the tubing). However, it did not seem like it was going to collapse. It will support 300 lbs. That said, if you try to sit on it in the same vigorous manner that you plop yourself onto your sofa, lounge chair, or bed, the chair, obviously, is NOT DESIGNED nor constructed for that. Common sense people. Just LOOK at the chair. Cheap construction and materials - far different from your sofa or lounge chair. So I would suggest consciously lowering yourself moderately on the chair without using such full force. If you forget or don't care, you WILL end up with a broken chair. In order to get the benefit of this relatively inexpensive portable stool/chair, that is the "price" you will have to pay. I shall follow-up with a report after my trip, whether I used this stool/chair, and if so, how it performed.

Nice camping chair
They are light weights and tall enough for people that have knee problems to get up off.

Don't buy this
I bought this chair to use at times where I would need to stand for long periods of time. Pros: it is lightweight, has a little bag to go with it, is small enough to fit in a backpack. Cons: It is fiddly to put together. I have sat on it a few times for short durations, but today was the big test. I put it together and made sure the pieces were solidly in place. I sat on it, it seemed squishy, like it could give. I checked again to make sure all the pieces were in place, and they were, so I sat on it again, and it broke, sending me backwards and twisting my knee as I tried to catch myself. I am fine, if a little sore. I checked to see what happened, and the lip of the male piece on one of the legs had broken off, causing the entire leg to bend with my weight. I am heavy, but not near 300 lbs. This is broken beyond repair, and I wouldn't trust it even if it weren't, as it is not safe. I do not recommend purchasing this as if it does break while using it, you can get seriously hurt.

Its build ok, but it's too small/short for adults
I got this to take a breather when I go on hikes. Meh.. Well, here's the good: 1.Its sturdy, it seems to hold me up. 2. Folds up very small. Comes with a carry bag. 3. Very light weight. The bad: 1. Not comfortable. Seems like it's made for small children. I can feel the metal supports instead of the fabric. 2. Very short. Kinda like getting up from sitting on the ground. 3. Kinda pricy for what it is.

Pregnant lady
I was very happy with this stool. I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant and bought this to take with me to places where I’m not sure if there will be somewhere to sit. It’s very sturdy and comfortable. It’s the perfect size to use to prop your feet up or sit on. It’s not bulky looking. It’s easy transport the stool in a large purse or small backpack when it’s folded up. I’m very pleased with how this stool works.

No chairs around? Here, take a seat!
This is great! As someone who has mobility issues, there are times I absolutely need to sit down... this little stool went beyond expectations. Super lightweight im on the petite side, with my weight being 117 lbs. And this feels quite comfortable and functions great. The price is very good too! I keep it in my car, it travels well, can use if you are waiting in line, and need to get off your feet. I truly love it!

Good quality. Light weight. Easy to setup. Have to take note during setup, sometimes the frames will cross to the side that is will cause difficulty in deploying, when it happens, do not force deploy. Disassemble it and try switching the side before deploying again. Forcing it to deploy when its stuck will damage the product.

Its robust construction ensures that it can handle regular use without any issues. Additionally, the stool is incredibly easy to carry, thanks to the included carry bag. It folds up compactly, making it simple to transport and store. Overall, I am very satisfied with the LFSEMINI Camping Stool. Need to be very careful prior to each use, as the 2 screws (key!) keep loosening. If a cap drops, the whole chair would come apart.
