Great price, smooth start, very durable, and performed well on the fist star in a 56yr old Conti

I bought this to replace a coil on my car with HEI ignition. I selected it because of its low electrical resistance. When I received it, I measured the resistance with my own ohmeter and got the same value as advertised. Time will tell if it is better or worse than its predecessor.

The Pertronix packaging is a little lite/flaky for the weight of the coil.Mine fell out thru the bottom of the box, onto the cement garage floor and chipped the tower a bit.Installed it anyway with the Ignitor 3 ignition module.1974 Olds Delta 88 Royale Convertible has never run so smooth or with as much zip!

Product looked great when arrived, put it in storage until I’d have time to install it. 2 months later the box I had it in is soaked in oil from the coil leaking. Seller won’t do anything for me on it, and while it probably still works, I’ll be purchasing a replacement direct from pertronix when I am ready to do the install.

Came damaged. Have not tested to see if it works but it has some dents and damage to the paint. The box looks like it has been crushed. I am still waiting on other parts to be delivered before I can test it but other than the damage it looks like a decent product.
