Absolutely brilliant stuff! I have used it many times for staking trees, but now I am using it to hang heavy bird feeders without causing damage to the branches. The grip is very tenacious!

As a home organic gardener, I am super impressed with this product. Growing up working in my parent's garden, and now with mine, I was familiar with garder's twine to help anchor plants to their stakes, etc., but was never a fan of the fact that sometimes as the plant grew the twine could cut through the plant stems and damage the plant. I found this product last growing season, and tried it on a plant or two with some hesitation. I couldn't have been more wrong! The velcro is much wider and has a super soft side that goes against the plants. I used this on cucumbers, squash (yellow and green) and tomatoes with no issue - and no damage to the plants as they grew. An added benefit is that unlike twine (which can be very difficult to remove once tied) this can be removed and moved to a different area of the plant if need be. Even though you can remove it, it has stood up to Tropical Storm force winds here in the South with no problem - performed like a champ and helped to keep my plants from being blown over. All in all, a great product and a happy customer! (I even sent a couple of spools of this to my parents as a gift at the start of the growing season for them)

I really like this velcro for attaching the stems of plants to stakes or a trellis. Much easier than tying them up. It has more value than the price I paid for it and I highly recommend this to plant parents...you won't know what you did without it.
