Most users report getting several uses out of our foam earplugs before they get too dirty from earwax, at which time they should be replaced with a fresh pair. Question 2

I have a short ear canal - will these work? Can I trim the tip so it stays in comfortably?

Thank you for your interest in our products and I'm happy to help. If they aren’t staying in, there’s a good chance you may not be inserting them properly, as commonly happens with foam earplugs. Please check out our instructional video to ensure you are getting the best fit and performance. The earplugs should be inserted enough so that there is just enough of the earplug sticking out of the ear canal that you can grab them with your thumb and forefinger for removal. This will ensure a proper seal and noise reducing benefits as well keeping the earplugs securely in your ears. We don't recommend cutting them. If you’re carefully following the direction and you find that these earplugs are just too large for your ear canals, you may have smaller than average size ear canals.  In that case, we’d recommend trying our Mack’s Slim Fit Soft Foam Earplugs, designed to provide greater comfort for those with smaller or sensitive ear canals. Can these be reused ?

Thank you for your question.  I found this FAQ on the manufacturer's site:
Can the earplugs be cleaned?  No. If these earplugs become soiled, they should be disposed of.
I personally use these ear plugs.  I reuse them until they become soiled and then I throw them away.  I usually get 2 to 4 uses before I replace.
