Would any one of the straps fit around a woman's head (for wisdom teeth removal)?

Yes, the strap would fit around a woman’s head.

how do you open the top?

Turn the top counter-clockwise to open it. Mike in Alabama

Could I safely keep these in the car during hot or cold weather, or would it ruin them?

I do not know how very hot weather would affect them. You would have to try it.

Can I use the alcohol mixture in this bag?

I wouldn't recommend it. It could possibly wreck the interior of the bag. Besides, these aren't meant for the freezer, for one thing, it could damage the seal. When you fill the bag with ice and water, it is fluid enough to shape itself around the affected area.
