Can this be used to heal wounds?

If the wound has dried out, and the healing process has started, then you can start applying Uriage Cica-Cream twice a day. It should never be applied on open wounds.

Does this cream feel heavy on the skin or thick?

It feels very thick and heavy on the skin. I apply it after I've done a chemical peel. After completing a chemical peel my skin is usually very tight and sensitive. I apply toner and then put this cream on before going to bed. After about 4-5 nights of doing that my skin barrier usually repairs itself.

Is this a good dupe for dermalogic barrier repair cream ?

In my case it worked, it is a good cream.
