Easy install and works great as an upgrade.
Bought a trail cam, built battery box for 12 volt dc jack, camera died in 2 days ordered different camera, this 1 turns out to be 6 volt, installed this guy which saved me from buying a 6 volt battery.Adjustable output voltage, usb port with adjustable out voltage, accuracy is great for my needs, draws almost no power, not much draw so heat is low and battery life has only dropped .02 volts in 2 weeks use.Lot cheaper than 8 AA alkaline s.

Great voltage regulator
It works great

Confusing at first
The directions that come with it are virtually crap. Your best bet is to find a video like i did (unless you know and understand electrical operations, which i didn't). The wiring was very easy, but you need to build the housing, and hat ended up being the first nightmare as the directions were not helpful. The second, make sure you have a very, very, tiny flat head screw driver. As I even struggled with the YouTube video (a tiny bit), I decided to say "F" it and just start turning the screws. The left is the volts, and the right, as far I can tell is for... I dint remember. I just know I turned that one around 30 times before it did anything. That said, it works great. I'm running an old laptop power supply to my HO train set. As it is putting out 19 volts, I had to get it down between 12v and 14v continuous power. It works perfect for that. I'd buy it again.

works but missing some hardware.
missing two bolts, a button and standoff.

Nice, compact power supply.
I'm using this as a 13.8 volt power supply to run a 5 watt amateur radio using 4 18650 cells, so there's really no risk of over temp conditions. The voltage output is stable and accurate, measured with a Fluke 87 V. I initially considered assembling my own power supply, but the DROK is a better choice. Assembly and use are easy, and although the included instructions are a bit clunky (for lack of a better term) there are a handful of videos on Y-tube that help to clarify operation.

Don't expect 5V USB
USB puts out whatever you set the main output to. I was trying to run a 12V FM module and some USB powered LEDs. The LEDs were fried by the USB connection. Be aware of this! It is not a standard 5V USB! Just get a normal buck converter and a USB converter, as this doesn't do what it should :(

Not only will it step down, but it will step UP as well.
I've bought multiple of these for various projects, but primarily for stepping the power output from my solar/battery powered security cameras from 24v to 5v. They've been working flawlessly for 2 years with zero maintenance or adjustment required. However while replacing my generic analog thermostat with a smart one recently, I found I didn't have the 24v line required to power the new digital controller. What I had was a 5v wall charger and one of these adapters. I removed the circuit board from the wall adapter and mounted it inside the same box this converter comes in. It barely fit but it fit! I tapped power from the 120v line from the A/C unit into the 5v transformer, then patched the 5v output to the input on this converter, set the output to 24v and it's also been working fine for over a year. While I realize that I could have just bought the 24v adapter, I wanted to finish the project before the weekend was over and this got me there. It's still working so I see no need to swap it out.

Can't support the set voltage under any load.
I have bought lots of DROK products and am usually happy. This was a nice concept but does not live up. Under a load, anywhere from .5 to 3.5 amp, the output voltage drops to about 18.5v. I am using it for a 22.5 volt battery charger and it can't make the voltage. I have a steady 13.4 volts coming from a Netlinx power supply as my input.

Arrived on time and in good condition. Well wrapped/protected.

Great little buck converter, comes disassembled as acrylic is fragile but assembly is extremely simple and while a short guide would be nice it's not worth the waste of paper.

Works with the Pi4 for me using the right 12v input, its just a shame the USB cant be automatily on after a power cycle,
