If you want to learn literally everything there is to learn about Microsoft Office, then this is it. Between watching YouTube videos and reading/studiyng this book in it's entirety, you'll be a pro in no time. Which in today's society, that's almost expected. That being said, you would be surprised how many people are not proficient at office even when they used it everyday. This is a cheap way to add on to your resume and make yourself more hire-able.It's a thick book too, probably around 3 inches in thickness. It's spiral bound so it's easy to keep open and fold in half. I bought this for a class I was taking and as most textbooks kind of beat around the bush, this one just is full of information with no thrills. The way it should be.I would recommend this to anyone looking to advance their knowledge of Office products.

Well organized text. The examples were clear and the directions on how to proceed well written. I received a code with the text, but I had a hard time getting the on-line information to work with the text. For whatever reason, the on-line code wanted me to enroll with a class - however, I was using the text to self-teach. I did not have an instructor-led class. Again, the on-line code did not provide any real help, but the text really does walk you through the steps for Office 2013.

I think it is a little word heavy, the explanations could be a bit more concise but overall it has given me insights into Microsoft Office that just working with it does not give you. I would like to see some side notes for Apple Mac users however!

I've been working with MS Office tools the last 15 years, and was glad that this book did not just go through the old stuff only and where it is now placed.The new tools in Office are magnificent.All the Applications in Office have new enhancements that I would have struggled to learn about, were it not for the useful exercises set out in this book.Easy to follow text that builds on your knowledge step by step.Get it if you use ANY of the Office applications. A little rough around the edges in terms of being beat, but for the price, I can read it without any issues.
