does a good job but has several design flaws.
does a great job qt keeping the room dry and isnt paticualrly loud (although I enjoy white noise and find it relaxing - if you dont, you might find it actually can be quite noisy...). It looks very modern and stylish io you are into that sort of thing. However, there are several design flaws which have proven problematic. The worst offender is the fadt that you cannot fully turn off the lights which light up the buttons on the control panel , even during night time mode. and these lights are BRIGHT. and I mean bright enough to light up the entire room at night time with the bedroom lights turned off... if you are like me and need to sleep in complete darkness, and want a dehumidifier for your bedroom that you want to run through the night - this is NOT the product for you. I actually wanted to send it back based on this issue, but my own design flaws (severe laziness) has ultimately prevented this. We have got around it by taping a peice of cardboard over the control panel at night - which does the job to hide the lights but looks pretty rubbish. Another issue is the extracted water unit. its very poorly designed, hard to remove from the back of the machine once full and nearly impossible not to spill everywhere when completely full as there is essentially no space between the top of the unit and the level of the maximal water line. Finally, you basically need a PhD to work out how to use all the functions that the unit offers - as the instruction manual sent with the product provides very poor information about what all the buttons do and what all the very many symbols mean on the display panel... and there are lots of instances where sensible intuition doesnt serve you well to figure it out yourself... overall, once you know how to use it, the product works and does its job well. But whoever actually is responsible for how it has been designed needs to probably be fired from thier job.

Pretty good
Does what it says and quickly reduces humidity. Placed on landing it copes drying air for the 1st floor bedrooms and bathrooms. It does make some noise like a mini fridge but others complaining is quite silly. It has to make noise for the compressor to create a cool surface for water to condense. Compared to a tumble dryer it’s nothing. We have setup as others have on a smart plug to turn on 8 hours a day whilst we are not using the bedrooms or bathrooms so don’t ever notice the noise. As it keeps it’s settings after power off it’s perfect for a smart plug. If having a late night shower can simply ask Alexa to turn on when needed. Seems well made and the display is very clear. The instructions are quite poor and a lot is presumed but the mode lights are simple once understood. Very easy to adjust to the RH% you feel comfortable with. We find 50% too dry and stick to around 60%. Also found putting an air freshener on top for half an hour by the vent also made the house smell wonderful and circulated the fragrance very well. The tank we found much easier to empty than others say. It’s simply a cassette style draw and has a lid to limit spills, we haven’t had any. We tried drying a load of washing indoors with the laundry setting. For us it wasn’t worth the haste and took nearly 8 hours, pretty much what it would have without. But we didn’t buy it for that so very pleased.

First impressions, well made but noisy.
This is a very early review, I will add more detail after prolonged use.First impressions were good, looks well made, looks good and whilst it is heavy, it is easy to move around.I switched it on and followed the set up instructions, the book is clear. It was at this point that I discovered the jet engine in my lounge. There are three settings, effectively low, med and high. The low is what you can hear in the video, anything more powerful and you will be disturbed if you are relaxing or watching tv. Our main use will be during the day to assist drying washing so it won’t cause too much issue but be aware, it is loud.Economy seems good, the smart meter jumped up between 3 and 6p per hour based on level of usage, again, this will be good for drying clothes. It will only be on about 6 hours a day so it won’t be expensive to run (Nov 22 prices).Consider your needs, if this is going to be used in a living/sleeping area, be ready for the noise. It dragged around 1 litre of water in 4 hours of use after set up, approx 4 hours on low setting… impressive.I hope this helps.

Compact, effective and cheap to run.
If like me you are facing a winter with no heating a dehumidifier is a must, better for your house, keep damp out, better for your health and that laundry mode is brilliant, load up the clothes horse in the bathroom and with no heating on 2 full loads dry, bone dry in 2/3 hours, at about 4 pence an hour (29p/KWH). If like me you have solar panels this machine will run for free during daylight hours even on a grey day. If you have chest issues, or joint pain agrivated by damp like me this tool is great, just running a few hours a day I can keep the humidity down to around 50%/60% in a 2 bedroom bungalow. Can easily cope with hi humidity after a shower when you have no extractor fan, quickly air your bedroom in the morning without having to open your windows loosing valuable heat, this machine will pay for itself.

Absolutely in love with this dehumidifier.I live in a small 30sq m flat, so this is more than enough for daily use in the cooler damper months.I run it for a couple of hours a day to get the humidity down from 80% to 50% and also on laundry days. The biggest perk is that a big load of laundry dries in around 5 hours, while previously it would take 1-2 days.It consumes much less energy than a tumble drier or a space heater, so it’s a big win for me.
