Nike 20XI-S Golf Balls (1-Dozen)

I'm usually skeptical of purchasing high quality balls since I am not a good golfer, Handicap is around 25. However I had been playing lots of Nike balls I had been finding around the course and decided to splurge on this item. The feel of the ball in your hand is very soft and overall I like playing the ball. I usually have a big cut to a small slice and have to watch what I'm doing on the tee. This ball is no exception, if I don't concentrate it takes the spin I put on the ball during my drive and will end up on the right side of the fairway if not in the wrong fairway if I'm lucky. It plays well around the green and on a few occassions stopped very close to where it hit the green. I finally lost the first ball after two rounds so I would say I am happy overall and will continue to play these balls.

So far I like these. I've used Nike balls years ago but had an eight year hiatus from golf. Evidently much has changed in that time concerning golf ball technology. I had a half dozen of the previous Nike balls I'd used previously and these seem to play similarly. That said they don't seem as soft for the face of the club as the older balls nor do they seem to have as much bite on the green. They do seem durable though. I'll probably try another ball after I've used the two dozen I bought recently.

This golf ball is amazing. Soft off the club face but not too soft. Though its soft, it is super fast off the club face. I was playing it for the first time and there was a 15-20 mph wind with gust of up to 35 and the ball held its line. If it was hit by a gust it might have moved 2 feet. It is amazing around the greens and has plenty of stopping power. The ball is amazing to move around. Draws, fades, high, low the ball does it all. Working it is a dream and I recommend this ball for anyone who is a 10 handicap or better. If you've got serious game this ball is seriously for you.

I tried these as an alternative to Pro V1s and Bridgestone. The performance was ok, but they made a really loud noise off the driver face. It could be that the temp was too cold (about 45), but it sounded like I was hitting a rock. I did not notice any improvement over a Bridgestone E5 or the more expensive B330 models. The Pro V1 seemed to go a bit further off the tee, but the Nike had the same amount of spin. Overall, I will stick with the Pro V1 or more likely get the Bridgestone B330 & E5 (to save money).

in my opinion this ball is comparable to titleist pro v 1 the taylormade penta tp5 and taylormade lethal, i have played with all 4 balls and found the nike 20XI-S to be just as soft feeling around the greens and as long hitting off the tee box, i would recommend this ball to others, Fred B.

Great ball at a bargain price !!! Great common sense choice for any player tired of paying $60 a dozen !!! Don't buy these !!! More for me !!!!

Not a very good ball at all. Feels like you're hitting a rock. Nike retired them for good reason, I guess.
