I love a wide/square toe box and these are sufficient. My pinky toe gets pinched a bit, but its not really an issue for me. They were mostly comfy right off the bat, but I am glad I am breaking them in before wearing them to a festival. They are a little tight across the top of the shoe, where the ankle part meets the foot part. However, its been stretching as I wear them, as well as the toe area that squeezes.
