This is a well-made bag. Very thick material. I am sure it will hold up well. Many uses. I purchased this told a scissor jack and a tire wrench set for my car. holds it all very well and is plenty robut to handle it. I believe it will last many years.

These are NOT machine washable... they are NOT color fast. A new bag vs. another identical bag which was washed (without bleach, powdered laundry detergent only, cold water temp) are pictured. I've bought several of these over the past few years, and I made the mistake of washing one of them, resulting in the faded, patchy gray/black look of the bag on the right. Nowhere on the label(s) or in the description did I find anything from the manufacturer mentioning that these are not machine washable. Rothco's customer service was dismissive, unapologetic, and utterly unhelpful when I contacted them about this. It is for these two reasons I am rating this only two stars. Aside from that downside and the lacking customer service, I actually like the bags, and they hold up well, structurally. JUST DO NOT WASH THEM!

Bag seems OK, not great. It has a plastic zipper (teeth), not brass like some of the other Rothco bags "seem" to have (based only on pictures I see of them for this type/size of bag). The bottom is not firm like my other tool bag has that is what seems to be a clone of this bag. Inside has 2 long "pockets" but they are so "flappy" if putting anything in those, they'd spill out into the main compartment if the bag tipped on it's side. Don't know what they could ever be used for. Seems like a terrible design. If using for a range bag, it could work but a true range bag would be better, especially at this price of around 16 bucks. I was curious about it, and will attempt to use as a range bag, but ultimately will probably will use it as it's intended though, as a tool bag. It is however seemingly stronger than the clone bags I have, since the handles are "wrap around"; they wrap around the entire bag which adds to strength I'd think.

Happy with this product. Larger than I'd expected, but very well made.

I have several Rothco bags. So I figured I couldn't go wrong purchasing this one for carrying tools in my Jeep. Bottom line is I don't really care for it. The main reason is the pesky inside pockets. The pockets are so big that they are constantly laying over my tools and get in the way when looking for an item. They are so big that anytime I put something in them they just fall out into the main tool bag. The pockets just flop around. Rendering the pockets useless. Maybe I got a bad bag that was put together wrong or maybe I'm not using it for its intended purpose. But rather than return it, I put it to another use. I still love Rothco bags. Very sturdy and very useful bags at a very cheap cost. But for tools I think the Rothco mechanic bags small and jumbo are a better choice. I'm actually going to purchase another mechanic jumbo bag after I finish this review.
