He had a UTI / with crystals in his bladder. I give him 5 dropperfuls of Uromax in his food 2-3 times per week and he's doing great. I recommend this product! **Q: Can you just open their mouth and give it orally?** A: I have to give my girls (2 sister cats) their supplements directly by mouth. They always smell it in their food and water, & WILL REFUSE to eat or drink it, from the bowl, or their little filter fountain, until their food & water is clear and back to "normal". So, I creep up on them from behind (literally, with the loaded medicine syringe in hand) & I give it that way, or I do the old towel wrap over them trick- still best to do it from behind the cat in that case, or you can get one of those pet grooming baggies (very cheap) that zip up, allowing you to bathe your cat, trim nails, administer meds or supplements etc- without being "Wolverined" 😫😢 by your cat! Those also work. Personally, I prefer to give the meds directly by mouth- to ensure the cat is getting the actual dosage. Sometimes cats will eat some of their food, then may return to eat the rest of it later, or sometimes doesn't complete the entire meal at all, or they won't finish the entire bowl of water. And it gets thrown out. Tip: Trim your pets claws prior to feeding directly by mouth. **Q: I cannot see alcohol on the ingredient list for this product. Herbal tinctures usually contain it.
