Great cap
Charges super fast. I didn't even do the slow initial charge with the 1k ohm resistor (totally forgot, and zero problems). Has more than enough juice to drive my two MRP-M500 mono blocks hooked up to each separate alpine type S - 10" in their dedicated 2.1 cu vertical vented soundstage enclosures (good luck getting your hands on those enclosures tho, they're top tier and handmade in small Canadian batched plus only two distributors in Canada are able to sell them).

Nice Cap. Solid.
Very nice product. Did everything as advertised. My amp is a RF 750 berth sheet states 928 watts RMS. I noticed my bass would reduce during big hits and saw my voltage meter tweak down a little bit. My light were not dimming but I knew the amp was drawing heavy. This capacitor is 1.5 farads which is good for approx. 1500 watts RMS give or take. Installation was pretty straight forward and comes with a small wired capacitor (looked like a light bulb) to pre charge the cap. The digital readout is nice and has two blue LED lights on on either side of the readout. The cap. will turn on any time there is a change In voltage. Like remotely unlocking your doors ( or obviously when the bass hits hard) At first I thought it was on all the time but after scoping it out it only comes on during the above mentioned. I can tell a big difference in the sound quality for two reasons. First I have an infinity amp running the front 6 speakers. Now that the RF bass amp has a steady supply of juice the infinity amp also has the juice it needs and actually is louder. As for the bass with this thing, it hits a lot harder more consistently. I saw the cap. advertised on Crutchfield. Not sure if they had any part in making it but it's the only cap. they sell. I know Crutchfield doesn't sell cheap crappy items so I thought I'd give it a shot I bought this on amazon for less then $50 worth it and would purchase again. Beware of the cheaper off brand units out there saying 2 farads for $30. You get what you pay for. Just sayin.

Good!
It has only been 1 day since I installed so we’ll see in the coming weeks how it holds. To start, the instruction diagrams were WRONG. It has the + and - terminals on the cap labeled backwards. I tried to charge the cap and my cars battery light came on. I used my multimeter to find correct polarity. Instructions says it takes 10-20 sec to charge. I had to charge mine for min straight before the full charge showed. It was pretty straight forward to connect. My headlights dont seem to dim “as much” when the bass drops. Will update review in the future to reflect any positive or negative experience.Btw: Have this connected to the 12” MTX sub amp ported combo from Amazon in a 12 Compass

Well made device but useless and might cause voltage problems with foreign cars that have smart ECU's.
Created a power issue with my car's ECU, had to remove it. The Optima battery didn't like it.Also, I used my decibel meter to see if it does what it claimed and got the same readings with or without it.
