As I'd bought this to make plant hangers for the garden the look of the cord didn't matter too much, so for the price, it was good for me

This cord is lovely and soft and the colour is a lovely oat but the quality of the roll is awful. The threads that make up the cord are loose and make the cord bunch up when knotting. Part way through the roll the card was actually two pieces knotted together so it’s not 1 continuous length

I have ordered the 2mm X 300m twice before. Each spool is enough to make a medium sized crochet handbag with long strap. I decide to order 2 different colours, one navy, one grey. When I received the package there was only one spool in it and a long gash big enough for the other one to have fallen out. I don't think it was the fault of Sola, more likely the way it was handled by the post office. I contacted Sola and asked what I should do, and without hesitation they apologised and sent me another in the next post, which I have just received. I think this is brilliant service, and will definately use them again. The macrame cord is good quality and soft. It makes a nice casual bag.

As a number of people are saying - poor quality as the threads unravel so they are also different widths. Started cutting before I realised how poor it was so can't return.

Not a great material, the cord uh unfolds badly, the ply don't stay compact, and it becomes difficult to do the knots. You have to twist each cord hoping to keep the ply in place, hoping that the knot will come out clean/clear. But sadly that's often not the case and it ruins your macramè. Won't buy this brand again and do not recommend it.

I took ages to look at reviews to find a decent black cord. The one I ordered before was unavailable. This is exactly the string I wanted to avoid. It’s uneven spindly, bitty it just looks crap. Very disappointed as I can’t sell my hangers now I will have to buy more
