Well Thought Out
Having owned many stake out pole clip kits over the years, this one is by far the most well thought out and offers solutions to the various shortcomings of other designs. For starters, it's painless to get the stake out pole clipped down. Every other clip kit that I've tried will easily release, but the YakAttack doesn't require both hands + some wrestling to get locked down. Don't get me wrong, it's still a far cry from the ease of the taco clip holders for a kayak paddle, but the YakAttack Deluxe kit works well.Another nice feature is the separate mounting bases for the clips. They provide a much more stable attachment of clips to kayak. I also like the Velcro straps for securing the pole, which makes it handy for deploying, docking or transporting the yak. Otherwise, there's the potential problem of a stake out pole popping out at the most inopportune time. The only criticism I have with the YakAttack Deluxe kit is failure to include a set of bolts / nuts...which would have been my preferred attachment method b/c I have access to the inner hull. Nevertheless, it does attach via three included self-tapping sheet metal type screws which appear sturdy enough. As a precaution, I GOOP'ed the heck out of everything to ensure durability, and to make the holes remain water tight.

Erm, what am I supposed to do with this thing?
So I just got the ParknPole, so I got these clips so that I can presumably attach the pole to my kayak. But there are no instructions on how (or where) to mount them. Now I'm not even sure that these clips are designed to do what I want, i.e., secure the pole to the yak while I'm paddle from A to B.Inasmuch as my kayak seems to be a seaworthy vessel with watertight integrity, am I really supposed to drill holes into the hull to mount these clips? If so, is there a product I can use to seal those holes?

Push Pole Kayak Anchors, Perfection.
Just what I needed for my push pole. Fits perfect on my Ascend 12.8T kayak.

for the price paid, it feels incredible cheaply made
YakAttack is getting more and more just a ripoff, instead of a quality fairly priced product.
