Badass Beard CareTrial Kit For Men - 8 Packs Trial Sizes of Beard Balm & Beard Oil

Good product, decent scents, oil samples are a bit smaller than I expected. I'm looking for a balm with a bit more hold than these have, that said it's still a decent product.

For a beard that is about a hand’s length, thirty bucks got me 16 uses of 8 scents, some of which I drained dry and cried out in rage, for it was all gone. A few I tried once, and that was enough. Still, I think thirty bucks for the Badass Beard world tour isn’t bad, and it is definitely enough to form a solid opinion. I saw some folks saying its not enough for gifting, and I don’t think that’s fair, or really true. If someone asked me for advice on beard oils, I would definitely include this sample set as an option.The Original: Reminded me of birthday cake. Very sweet, but on the simple side.The Ladies Man: I got some of this separately, and it led me to this variety pack. Lemony, with the sweetness that they say is vanilla. I couldn’t place it, but man do I like it. Then again, I am a fan of citrus smells.The Biker: Another winner for me. The peppermint is what I smell most of the time, but I would randomly catch hints of something deeper.The Bushwhacker: I REALLY wanted this one, but it didn’t come with the sample pack, so I ordered it separately. It made me sad. As soon as I put it on, I got hit with violent levels of lemon, which as a citrus fan, I thought would be good. It was not. It was almost exactly the smell of that lemon scented furniture polish my parents used when I was a kid. Sorry guys, but I am not a fan.The Outlaw: Back to the good stuff. This might be my favorite. Tobacco and vanilla with black pepper. Who wudda thunk, huh? I shall upgrade my “might” to “is.” As in, this IS my favorite.The Mountain Man: Smells like the woods. Solid outdoorsy scent. I put it in the neutral pile, as in just OK.The Viking: Orange and Clove, and heavy on both. I do not like clove, but if you do, this or the Pirate might be your jam.The Patriot: As a newly retired vet, I was low-key excited for this one. It ended up in the neutral pile, but I did use all the oil, which is two uses for my beard length. So…like a strong neutral?The Pirate: Again cloves, but this time with limes and orange. Again, I don’t like cloves, but if ya do, it might be worth a gander.

Men, ever remember that feeling when you had to wear a suit? On that day the feeling of being the most fresh you can feel, well if you weren't wearing this beard product that day you were missing out. A must have product easy to apply and results are very nice, just ask anyone who walks near your presence.

This is the first time I have a beard (3 months in) and this is the third company I have tried for Oil/Balm. This Oil and Balm is best one I have found so far and I really like that they have a "trial set" to try the scents because it's really annoying to get a 1-2 oz container of balm when you don't like the smell.PROS- This is the least "Greasy" beard oil/balm combination I have found. It is a very thin oil and a thin balm but it does go very far. I am thinking I will get about 3-4 days on the oil and about 4-5 days on the balms. The scents are generally really nice, mild, and long lasting. I have even gone as far as using it twice a day so I have a nice scent from about 7AM to about 5PM and then sometimes I put some on at night. My wife says these are the best scents of all the trial-sets I have purchased!!! I can touch my beard throughout the day and you feel the oil come off but it doesn't leave your hands nearly as greasy as any of the other oils I have used.CONS- Only Con I have is the scents are a little over-complex, very similar, and hard to remember what is what. I wish the packaging said the scents on it but it is very small so I doubt it will fit. I had to save a picture of the scents on my phone so I know what I am putting on in the morning. Also - A lot of them smell very similar and the first scent in the name is the more over-powering name (For instance, Patriot smells like cedar with a hint of rose/tea tree). They seem to use Vanilla in a lot of the scents to mellow out the overall scent and add a sweet tinge.Overall - Highly recommend this product. I will definitely continue to order some bigger balms and oils when I finish out my inventory!

I’m the worst analytical person in the world. Nothing is ever good enough, something that’s great could always be better sort of person. I read every review on this product, and honestly couldn’t decide. I filled my amazon cart up with a dozen different Beard balms and Waxes. But... as a first time beard care dude, I had no idea what I liked or needed.I finally gave up and ordered the trial size of the balms and oils. I read the other guys review that he was disappointed in the scents and the size of the samples. So I ordered already thinking I’d be disappointed. But... the packaging is clear that it’s a trial size, good for a few days uses. Which is true, I didn’t order it thinking it would last a month. Like I said, the Bad Asses who own the company already gave me the facts that it’s small vials to TRY the scent and products. I didn’t like all the scents, I didn’t expect to. But for the price I was able to try every scent and have a solid “for sure getting laid” scent go to and 2 more that are excellent.I could have ordered any other scent from any other company, but the Bad Asses gave me all the scents to try for the same price. In my mind, i got 8 trials for the price of one of the other companies, and no guarantee I’d like the other company or scents.So, thank you bearded Bad Asses. You have one for sure life long customer.
