Violet Extract, Natural WONF - 4 fl. oz. glass bottle

I misunderstood what I was buying. I thought it was Violent Extract, so I bought it thinking that I could make explosives or something, but this stuff is actually quite peaceful. Tastes good too. I made cookies flavored with it. They don't explode, but they're good to eat.Remember that episode of SpongeBob when Squidward gave him an exploding pie? Well, this stuff is nothing like that.Highly recommend.

I used this to flavor a 5 Liter batch of gelato using two caps full of extract. The cap has a cone plastic piece inside so it seals fully so it was actually 1 full cap worth of extract that provided ample flavoring for 5 Liters of gelato. Like most extracts it smells different than how the flavor profile comes out in the finished product. it does have alcohol so I would recommend this for applications that are cooked at some point in your production process.

Love it

I love the flavor and scent of violet but the alcohol seems to overwhelm the flavor. It’s the only one I’ve found though for baking. Please if you could redo the recipe so the violet flavor comes through better.
