DERMAREST Psoriasis Medicated Gel, 4 OZ (Pack of 3)3

I have suffered from guttate psoriasis for 40 years, and it never goes away, it has also developed in some sort of dermatitis...both things very difficult to manage. Cortisone ointment help a lot, but cannot be used in a daily basis, so this soothing product with stronger salicilyc acid and zinc, bring a great relief to my itches and burning skin. Great product I hope it never goes out of market.

This product does not get rid of my psoriasis, but it is part of a program that I use to keep things under control. It works great to leave it on overnight, but most often I put it on first thing in the morning and leave it on for a couple of hours before washing my hair. It does a fantastic job of loosening scales, so they can be combed away with a very fine tooth comb. The skin is often inflamed under the scales, so I use a zinc shampoo that helps to calm it. Then I follow with steroid liquid. I use the steroid sporadically, just to keep things from getting horrible.

Great stuff! Stops the itch really fast, and each application lasts a long time. It sort of just glides on, so you don't have to apply a lot of it to get relief.
