This remote panel works well, but will not keep track of solar power going into the batteries like their earlier models. I was disappointed that they would make this change in the product. If you don’t have solar it is a good charger.

I replaced my charger/inverter that failed with the Xantrex Freedom sw2012 so I had to replace the control panel as well. The panel works great and at least works down to 0 deg F. That was the temperature when I installed the new unit. The panel is easy to understand and see. I wish I could have used the old panel cable because replacing the cable took a few hours. The panel fit in the old panels location almost perfectly.

This control panel does what it was designed for: controlling the Xantrex SW3012 Inverter/Charger. It performs that function well. However, I think the panel is too small and the text is too small making it difficult to read and use.
