I use this style tie down on my bay boat. The cheaper painted version with rubber coated hooks is what I’ve used and they work great but need to be replaced every season due to saltwater corrosion. I don’t submerges these in saltwater but they get exposed to it from drips off the transom once back on trailer. I ordered these stainless straps in hopes that I could get more than a season out of them. The only issue is the hooks have a shallow bend and if the straps loosen up or the boat moves forward causing them to loosen I believe they will fall off. The shallow bend give very little room for error on these. If these had the same style hook as the rubber coated cheaper version then I would absolutely give them 5 stars. Bottom line, these are heavy duty and should last longer while keeping my boat secure to the trailer

Excellent quality, very strong hardware. They cost about twice as much as the painted and rubberized versions, but where I live (near the ocean), those painted buckles get rusty and nasty and stiff to operate in about a year. Plus, on the cheapies the plastic coating on the hooks always comes off, due to abrasion and normal use. If this is good quality stainless hardware -- and it appears to be -- I won't be buying a new pair of tie-downs annually, so the extra cost is worth it.

I had 15+ yo set with galvanized buckles that worked but pretty 'rugged' due to wear and tear. So decided to upgrade to SS. The military belt buckle style seemed light but in use no issues. These are much easier to lock tight and the smaller 'profile' of the buckle makes it easy to adjust to lay flat across smooth area of transom. Felt very good value for the buck. 4 stars because can't assess durability after just two trips.

Works great on 25 Sea HuntWatch out when releasing or it will bite you.Just pull the tag end to release, do not try to flip the buckle.

Good description for the item on amazon. That made it easy to purchase and get the proper ones for my boat. SS is perfect for our salty weather here in lower Alabama.

I had all but given up on these for marine use. I had resorted to a single ratchet strap and replacing it every couple months. gave these a shot and I'm glad I did. Haven't corroded a bit.

These are well made however the hook has a very shallow bend. Sometimes a boat will settle in whell in transit allowing the strap to fall off without notice losing the strap along the way.

I also purchased the 4 footers. They hold a 20 foot pontoon vesse down extremely well. Recommend if your trying to find a way to stop your boat from jumping around.

Great simple tie downs. Why oh why aren’t these made in the UK? Can’t complain as they arrived from the US in about 3 days

These are very high quality tiedowns. The fabric is thicker than some of the other cheaper brands out there. Smooth action to tightened Has protective fabric on the rear and velcro strap for the excess strap as normal. I mooched around looking at ratchet style ones for easier use,but all had poor reviews especially about coming loose . These are simple snd quality that work. I put some insulstion tape on the hook to the boat for protection. Used on 3600lb 21ft river boat.

Great product. Heavy duty material, and works well. No more "hang ups" at the boat launch as the Kwik-Lok releases in a second. I would definitely recommend this product to any serious boat owner who launches and recovers regularly. Stainless steel is a real plus as I use the boat mostly in salt water. Also, Amazon prime 2 day shipping was excellent...Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase..

Nice and quick system for boat tie downs. Better then ratchet straps. Solid product.
